It provides numerous nooks and crannies to shoot in and there is no such thing as harsh light. You can always move to a shaded area to get different lighting effects. The red rock reflects light with a shade all its own. I've even known a model that shot here in a desert downpour and got some great photos, although to this day she claims it was the most miserable shoot of her life. We had great weather this day and great lighting as well.

Thank you both for your comments. Deanna let's plan on shooting at this location when you're here. I didn't think about "The Thinker" connection until you mentioned it Lin. :-)
