Instagram's Bizarre Nipple-bots
Added 2020-08-16 17:16:56 +0000 UTCThe images above have been removed from Instagram, not because of user complaints, but because an algorithm, the Nipple-bot, has identified them as objectionable. Yes, a woman holding her hands over her breasts offends the algorithm.
I discovered yesterday that Nipple-bot evidently has a sister which we will call "Gap-bot" I suppose. The abstracted image of the Clothed bottom on Nibacari triggered Gap-bot in 2 seconds. I have included the original image that the close-up was pulled from.
This is what artists who do Any type of challenging or possibly 'offensive' art are faced with on social media now. But I accept the challenge of using my analog, grey-matter to outsmart Instagram, Nipple-bot, Gap-bot and all the other bots and continue to get my work out there.
