Status Update, Patreon Problems
Added 2023-08-30 20:59:25 +0000 UTCSo it seems Patreon's new age verification system has some fundamental flaws and support has not been helpful. Their reluctance to fix these issues means that if I were to continue publishing NSFW content here, they would withhold all patronage I would get from this site. This, combined with a few other issues that have been building up over the years, have forced me to consider making some changes to this page. Of course, I will continue my work, hopefully uninterrupted from this point forward, but I have had to move my NSFW stuff over to my SubscribeStar page. Don't worry, if you already have my MEGA link, that won't change. I've removed the link from Patreon and edited my posts to remove the adult material. You can still find the link on my SubscribeStar page. I think I will also just do away with tier-specific benefits and make everything free. In the beginning, everything I did was free and I kinda like it that way. That's pretty much why I never really did much with the patron tiers, though I did try a few things that never really hit quite right.
Anyway, following these changes, this site will no longer be NSFW. It'll be rebranded to a more general patronage site for my work. I will leave the tiers in place, so nothing will really change for you guys, except you won't have to have any specific tier in order to access all my work. I'll be working on the changes soon, as soon as I can anyway. Currently, I'm in the middle of dealing with some family issues but I expect that to be resolved soon. I also have some ideas about a certain imminent game release I will elaborate on more later when things are a bit more stable.
