Hi everyone, Sunny here!
We finally finished the ero-card yokai edition. There are a bunch of reasons why it took so long; the main one is I made a bad estimate of the time it would take to implement new mechanics and systems into the game.

We added a bunch of stuff that complicated the development, but that will improve all our games from now on. The first one is the addition of the animation system; now characters can talk and blink, making everything feel more natural.

We changed the way the game is played. Now you have to reach a certain number of pairs to finish the level, but if you chain pairs, they will give you a bonus in points, and the game ends after you finish 3 full boards of cards. This change was to give the game more replayability so you can enjoy it longer.

And talking about replayability, now the game includes 2 extra post-games, a new game +, and a new game ++ with extra difficulty every time you restart, and a sweet unlockable select screen if you finish all 3.

One extra feature the game has too is fully animated CG. These are provided by Crisisbeat, who helped us with 3D models and animations for this game.

We added sounds to all the game with the exception of voice acting; we cannot afford it yet, but it is a feature that, with your support, we hope can be added in future games.
