If I were to pick one of the two, the second is probably better. Also, what's with the "Heh!" at the end?! 😂 Don't worry about your speed of reading. Everyone enjoys it in different ways. Not learning about the author before you finish the story is an interesting POV. I'd compare it to testing food/drinks from different people before seeing who they are: less bias. Many examples can be used here 😄
