I met Dita two days after 911. We shot in a cool Art Deco Hotel on La's Sunset Strip. There were vigils happening all around us. This was back before Dita had made a name for herself. But she came prepared to shoot. She was so kind and wonderful to work with. Sadly, this occurred during the infancy of digital photography where downloads take too a long time. When we fill our IBM card, it was going to take an hour to upload. Sadly, Dita chose not to stay or we could have gotten so much more content.
