It's King Robert who Danaerys and Viserys are trying to take their kingdom back from - their father was the king before Robert rebelled against him and took the throne. Their family (Targaryans) were the kings for hundreds of years before that (Robert's from the Baratheon family and the queen her brother are Lannisters). Definitely a lot to take in lol, but you'll get there!
