The Enabler- Chapter 3

The next morning, Kevin woke up feeling the aftermath of a night of indulgence. He was sprawled across the bed, the remnants of a deep sleep mingling with the lingering effects of his overeating. He glanced at the clock—11 AM. His stomach, still full from the previous night, felt heavy and bloated. He sighed, realizing he’d have to adjust to this new reality where his indulgence came with physical consequences.

Lucas was already up, humming softly as he prepared breakfast in the kitchen. The smell of bacon and eggs wafted through the apartment, mixing with the faint aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Kevin shuffled into the kitchen, his steps heavy and sluggish.

“Good morning, sleepyhead,” Lucas greeted, turning around with a warm smile. “I made your favorite—bacon and eggs. I thought you might be hungry after last night.”

Kevin forced a smile, feeling a twinge of guilt at the sight of the heaping plate set before him. “Thanks, Lucas. I didn’t expect to be so… hungry.”

Lucas laughed lightly. “Well, you did put away quite a bit last night. I thought you’d be up for more this morning.” He winked and poured Kevin a steaming mug of coffee.

As Kevin ate, he couldn’t shake the discomfort of his snug clothes and the visible weight gain that had crept up on him. He’d never been this size before. The tight waistband of his jeans dug into his expanding belly, making him acutely aware of the new, softer curves he was developing.

“Are you okay?” Lucas asked, his tone casual but concerned. “You seem a little off.”

“I’m fine,” Kevin replied, though his voice was tinged with uncertainty. “Just not used to all this. I mean, everything seems to fit differently now.”

Lucas reached over and placed a reassuring hand on Kevin’s shoulder. “You’re still you, Kevin. And besides, I love you just the way you are. You’re my perfect boyfriend.”

Kevin managed a smile, though it felt strained. “Thanks. I appreciate that.”

After breakfast, Lucas suggested a relaxing day at home. “Why don’t we just chill today? Maybe watch a movie or play some games. We can worry about the gym and stuff another time.”

Kevin agreed, though he felt a pang of unease. His lack of activity and indulgence in food were starting to take a toll on him, but he didn’t want to dampen the mood or push for a change. He followed Lucas back to the living room, where they settled on the couch with blankets and snacks.

As the hours passed, Kevin found himself sinking deeper into his sedentary routine. He played video games while Lucas sat beside him, occasionally offering encouragement or grabbing more snacks. They laughed and joked, but Kevin couldn’t ignore the growing discomfort in his body and mind.

The next few days followed a similar pattern. Kevin would spend his time gaming, drawing, or browsing social media while Lucas worked from home or handled errands. Their meals remained rich and abundant, with Lucas often encouraging Kevin to eat more than he intended.

One afternoon, as Kevin lounged in his room, he heard a knock on the door. It was Lucas, holding a shopping bag. “I thought you might like these,” he said, smiling and handing over the bag.

Kevin peered inside to find a selection of new clothes—loose-fitting shirts, sweatpants, and even a pair of sweat shorts. “Wow, thanks, Lucas. But you didn’t have to…”

Lucas cut him off with a gentle smile. “I figured you might appreciate something more comfortable. You’ve been looking a bit uncomfortable in those tight clothes.”

As Kevin looked through the bag, he heard Lucas approach him from behind. Lucas’s hands slid gently around Kevin’s waist, and he began to squeeze and jiggle Kevin’s belly playfully. Kevin’s breath hitched in surprise as he felt the warmth of Lucas’s hands on his skin.

“Look at you,” Lucas said softly, his voice full of affection. “You’re looking great. I love how soft and cuddly you are. You don’t need to worry about a thing. Just relax and enjoy yourself. You’re perfect to me, no matter what.”

Kevin felt a blush spread across his cheeks as Lucas continued to gently knead his belly. The touch was both comforting and a little startling. “I guess I’m just not used to seeing myself like this,” he admitted, his voice a mix of vulnerability and curiosity.

Lucas pressed a soft kiss to Kevin’s shoulder and then looked at him in the mirror. “You’re beautiful, Kevin. This is just another part of who you are. You don’t need to stress about it. I want you to feel happy and comfortable. So let yourself enjoy things, okay?”

Kevin took a deep breath, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. “Thanks, Lucas. It means a lot to hear that.”

Lucas’s smile widened as he gave Kevin’s belly one last gentle pat. “Anytime, babe. Now let’s get you into something more comfortable and head out for dinner. We’ve got a reservation at that new burger place I told you about.”

Kevin nodded, feeling a mix of gratitude and anticipation. As they prepared to leave, he couldn’t shake the warmth of Lucas’s touch and the reassuring words he had spoken. For the first time, he felt a bit more at ease with the changes in his body, knowing he had Lucas by his side to support and encourage him

As days turned into weeks, Kevin’s lifestyle became more entrenched. His once-active hobbies were now paired with constant snacking and sedentary activities. Lucas seemed to revel in making Kevin as comfortable and satisfied as possible, which meant encouraging him to indulge in every possible way.

One evening, as they prepared for another dinner out, Kevin stood in front of the mirror, struggling with his appearance. His reflection showed a noticeably fuller figure, with a rounder belly that pressed against his shirt. He sighed, feeling a mix of frustration and resignation.

Lucas entered the room, noticing Kevin’s hesitation. “Hey, are you okay?” he asked gently, placing a hand on Kevin’s shoulder.

“I’m just… not used to seeing myself like this,” Kevin admitted, his voice shaky. “I didn’t realize how much I’ve changed.”

Lucas took Kevin’s hand, looking him in the eye. “Kevin, I love you no matter what. Your body may be changing, but that doesn’t change how I feel about you. You’re beautiful just the way you are. And if you ever want to talk about it or make changes, I’m here for you.”

Kevin nodded, feeling a surge of gratitude and relief. “Thanks, Lucas. It means a lot to hear that.”

Lucas gave him a reassuring squeeze before they headed out for another dinner—this time at a gourmet burger place Lucas had discovered. Kevin knew the evening would be filled with indulgence and encouragement to eat more, but for the first time, he felt a glimmer of hope that things might balance out, even if the path to that balance was still uncertain.
