Either he liked it or not, Kevin fell into a pretty sedentary routine, he didn’t have the will to go out and exercise knowing his life was pretty much gonna be this, a stay at home boyfriend. He tried to talk to Lucas about lending him some money for college, but he denied it, saying it was unnecessary since he was working and making quite a good amount of money. And Kevin didn’t know how to reason with that statement.

So, to cheer himself up, he would order some delicious meals to binge eat while playing his favorite game, Crusader Kings 3, or while he was drawing, he was actually quite good at drawing. The house was constantly messy, with fast food wrappers everywhere, not even the house keeper could keep up with such a mess. Although he was quite enjoying his lifestyle, it did come with a price. On a Friday night, Lucas had asked Kevin on a date, and said he needed to be ready at 8 pm to go to dinner, and had to wear something fancy. So, the young man ran to his room and for his surprise, none of his nice jeans were buttoning. “That’s odd… I never had a problem with that”, thought Kevin, “I’m sure Sarah messed them up when drying or something”… but, his reflection told a different story. When he glanced to his full length mirror, he could see the reason his clothes were fitting, he was spotting a pot belly, his fat was spilling from his pants. Why was this the first time he was realizing he gained weight?

In a rush, Kevin called Lucas and begged him to buy a new pair of jeans, a size up from his old one, before heading back home. He couldn’t understand why, but Lucas voice was so happy and excited, he immediately agreed to buy more clothes and told him to wear something comfortable, they were going to a nice place he knew. While staring at his reflection, Kevin also saw he was slightly more hairy, he now had a generous layer of brown hair covering his chest… And his stubble was finally noticeable…

Dinner came and Lucas took Kevin to a new pizza buffet. The young man was surprised to be taken to a buffet, after all, he was literally venting to his boyfriend about his weight gain hours ago, but he thought it must have been just a coincidence because the restaurant had opened last week. The smell of freshly baked pizza immediately made Kevin starving, as soon as they were seated, he headed to fill his plate up. And boy, did he get loads of food, the possibility of gaining weight because of the amount of calories he was consuming didn’t even cross his mind. “Honey, you should get some more pizza, isn’t it delicious?” Suggested Lucas after his boyfriend was finished with his first plate.

“I don’t think I should babe, my pants were getting tight… “ Kevin was trying his best to resist the urge to go get more food.

“Oh don’t you worry babe, I can go to the gym with you if want, but don’t waste on the opportunity of having a nice dinner at this new amazing buffet! C’mon, let me get you some more slices” Kevin didn’t know why making him eat more was so important to Lucas, but nonetheless he was gonna make that boy eat.

“ I guess a couple extra slices won’t hurt… But I can totally get the…”

“No, stay seated honey, I will get more food for you, just relax and make some room for more.”

He came back with double the amount of slices Kevin had originally eaten. The young man’s expression when he saw the amount of food his boyfriend had picked up for him was a mix between excitement and fear. Kevin started eating painfully, and every time he slowed down his pace, Lucas would encourage him to keep going “C’mon babe, there’s only a few slices left”, “you are doing great! I bet those are super delicious”… “No, no, don’t stop, I’m sure you can get some more… Enjoy your dinner cutie pie”. And so he did, he ate everything. At the end of the date, Kevin’s belly was so swollen he looked a few months pregnant.

When they got home, Kevin’s stomach was still painfully full from the excessive meal. Lucas helped him to the couch, where he settled in, groaning slightly from discomfort. Lucas, however, seemed undeterred and more attentive than ever.

“You looked great tonight,” Lucas said, running a hand over Kevin’s rounded belly. “I’m so glad we went out.”

Kevin managed a weak smile. “I’m just feeling a bit… stuffed.”

Lucas’s eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. “You did a great job with dinner.
