So I had fun writing this one! Layering in reality changes is challenging, but it's definitely enjoyable. This chapter is purposely a bit more subdued, in order to help set some rules to the world.
One problem I had with this chapter: I had no idea what good butts look like on men! (What sort of erotica writer am I?!) So I had to do some (SFW & relatively charming) research.
Another interesting writing dynamic is having the narration in third person. (The Infinity Device was first person.) Third person provides a lot of opportunities, but also makes the writing... busier? Less personal?
My gut reaction is that first person is better for this kind of erotic literature, but I'm glad to be giving third person a try. After all, having a dynamic between a changer and a changee is generally part of the appeal for me, so it makes some sense that switching back and forth in third person would have upsides.
I may consider switching to first person in the fourth chapter (when Emily arrives), but we'll see. I'll be keeping an eye on this! (And feel free to give input if you feel strongly!) Definitely makes me excited to get back to The Infinity Device world, in any case.
Chapter III is sketched out, and should be ready in two weeks! Again, big thanks to you all, for making this possible. (I 100% could not justify spending so much time on these stories without you all.) And I know other readers appreciate you all as well!
See you all in two weeks!
Barker.
PS. Have you all read this story? This is still one of my all-time favorite stories, and a direct inspiration for my attempt at layering changes over personality.
PPS. Does anyone have a delivery preference? I could just post the story directly into future posts -- which might be a bit cleaner than a PDF, but would make for a loooong post. (But I might try that next time to see how that works out, unless I hear otherwise!)
