So many ideas thrown out there are making my adhd go nuts haha, I apologize in advance. I agree with the fact that AOT has way better writing and plot than Demon Slayer, but the ONE thing that DS is far superior to AOT and any other anime is the animation. DS is the most expensive anime ever done and you can SEE it. It really goes beyond anything else out there. Not that that should be the only or most important aspect of an anime, but I see why it blows so many people's minds animation wise, it honestly blew my mind to. Recently I had the opportunity to see the first movie in theaters and I was shocked at the quality of the image, the fluidity of the movements and the extra little details that I hadn't noticed when I first saw it on the tv. It is really something else. And about Javor's despise on Vinland Saga, I honestly don't get why he says it's weird and I've seen it xD I don't understand. Is it because it's a historical novel manga? Like, with real historical characters? That's what makes it weird? I honestly don't get it, but I loved it and I think you guys are going to love it, specially Kris. There is only one episode on the second half of season 1 where I thought "mmmm okay... ??" like I honestly didn't get the point they were trying to make, but I blame it on the translation. Japanese relies very heavily on context and I think there's a lot of context that is missed on the translation in that specific episode, but apart from that there's honestly nothing weird about it. The plot is very straightforward, like Kris says, every story has been told before but what makes them different and interesting is the way they are told and in VS's case what is interesting is the whole philosophical/moral questions that the main character faces and you sit there watching and thinking "would I have done the same?" so... no, I don't find it weird hahaha xD hopefully Javor will be able to tell us why he thinks it's weird once he re-watches it 'cause now I'm very curious about that.
