Added 2025-03-09 16:21:52 +0000 UTCBeen going through my gaming backlog lately and last week was also the launch of Monster Hunter Wilds which seemingly everyone was playing (and was also my most anticipated game this year) so after much debating I decided to skip the week and just post today instead.
So with this one I wanted to try drawing my miqo'te with a more serious expression because I figured it would get boring quickly if she is always smiling and I wanted to try something different. It gives me almost a tsundere vibe, which is also something I like, although as for how exactly she got into this situation so Ill just leave that to your imagination.
I knew I wanted to give her a more modern look here too with the clothes, as well as bringing back the glasses which were missing in the previous two. The simple shorts + top combo is always sexy and she pulls it off very well, and for the glasses I wanted to do a different texture instead of the black from the first pics. Apparently these are called tortoiseshell glasses although they look more like some leopard/jaguar pattern to me, so thats weird, but the important part is they fit very well with her look (and setting in this case).
For the setting I was actually planning on doing a more urban like thing at first but after messing around with it nothing was working so I tried a few different things and ended up at this instead, which looking back now seems obvious but yeah, I wish I had thought of it right away, it would have saved me a bunch of time.
Anyway I need to get a bunch more stuff done now, my to do folder never seems to get smaller since I keep taking breaks here and there I can never catch up (this is even more true for commissions which keep getting stuck in limbo). No idea whats coming next though, will just have to sketch some stuff and see.

I noticed Patreon was "processing" the image when I uploaded it but didnt think much of it since it looked good on my end, but after reading your comment I tried downloading it (right click > save as) and saw the file size was much smaller than the original and my drawing program couldnt even open it, so theres definitely something weird going on. Ive added the original files as attachments. Ive downloaded and checked to make sure they are untouched and it should be working fine so Ill do that from now on. You said its been happening since late Feb so its pretty recent at least, but is there any other pic of mine you need as attachment? Like "Gift" maybe?

2025-03-12 19:43:47 +0000 UTCGreat work, but would you mind including these as attachments? Patreon has been screwing up embedded file downloads for me since late February, particularly for png files. On download, these images are darkened substantially and a lot of detail is lost.
