Today we have a miqo'te bust commission. I was asked to do something similar to "Descent" with the close up focus on breasts and large areolae, which of course Im happy to oblige, lol.

Other than that, she would also be wearing a blue kimono and then the rest was up to me. I decided to make the whole scene around a sakura theme with both the background and the kimono texture. I think that worked out great, the pink of the petals and dark blue of the kimono make for a very satisfying combo.

That aside, the thing that stands out the most about this character is the hairstyle and bandana I guess, which I found pretty cute. I think the combination of colors is also what allowed me to do something so vibrant compared to my usual stuff, and its a nice change to do something more colorful once in a while. Not sure if the overall combo makes sense but you can just thing of it as a merger of eastern and western aesthetics, lol.

Another thing that stands out to me in this one is the eyes, I think with the lighter blue they naturally draw your attention and I really like the general shape they have, its very cat like which is obviously fitting for a miqo'te.

Think thats all I have to say about this one, was a pretty simple and quick one as busts should be anyway (although many times thats not the case), plus everything went very smoothly and Im happy with the final look, especially the colors.

As for next weeks post, Ive actually been wondering if I should skip it because its gonna be right in the middle of the Dawntrail early access and I figure people will probably be too hyped and immersed into the story to really care about anything else, lol. So maybe Ill just save it for the first week of July instead and continue from there, even if not everyone here is an FFXIV player I guess. Either way, dont go anywhere, I still have a bunch of stuff to post after that.
