Wanted to go for the usual intimate bedroom scene, with a low light ambience which always works well with this kind of thing. I did play around with it a bunch because I think it could also have worked well as night time but in the end I settled for this because it was similar to the vibe the previous one had and thats what the commissioner asked for.
This is one I have mixed feelings about. I like the colors and shading the most but the composition is missing something. I couldnt figure out what to do about it though so I just went with it anyway. This is also why I went a bit heavier on the depth of field/blur, to make the area around her face and breasts stand out more, though I like depth of field a lot when it comes to portraits anyway and its something I should experiment with more.
This is also one of the rare pics of mine where youll see a character with smaller areolae, lol. But I think it does look good on her and body type diversity is great so I dont have any problems with it. I generally appreciate everything as long as its natural.
Lastly, as usual I wanted to have her be wearing some lingerie since it always adds to the eroticism of the scene. I always feel like something is missing whenever I draw full nudes, clothes just add so much to it, even if its just a simple piece of underwear.
Think thats it for this one, cant think of anything else to say. Havent decided on what to post next yet but its probably going to be a miqo'te, since I also did some miqo'te commissions last month.

2024-02-13 14:42:02 +0000 UTCI do like how the eyes (iris in particular) turned out in this one, so thats a good catch... As always, gradients look great so having the eyes be brighter at the center and darker at the edge works really well

I keep looking back at her eyes, I think the colour of them is wonderful and the fact that she has eye contect with the viewer helps with that more intimate feel. The depth of feild also looks really good in this piece I really like it. Another awesome piece! :D

Another very cozy scene with a, seemingly, friendly character. :] This one is also a good showcase of what wonderful smiles, characters you draw, have. Not only with her mouth but also with her eyes. I do like her laying on her back like that. The way she is makes me imagine as if the viewer is laying right beside her which is giving off an intimate atmosphere. I hope we will get to see her more. ;]
