I started this one back in July last year, had her all sketched but just couldnt figure out what to do with the background and since I was going through a pretty bad phase I just couldnt deal with the frustration so I left it for later instead, which finally happened when I picked it up again in December. The final look for the scene is nothing like what I originally had in mind, but it looks pretty good in its own way so Im happy with it regardless.

This is one of those poses that has a great mix of playful and sexy and I always think I should do it more often, though Ive technically drawn her in a similar pose twice before, just from different angles.

As usual I wanted her to be wearing some piece of clothing rather than being fully naked, and in this case a lingerie bottom was all that was needed. I thought about including a top somewhere too but couldnt really fit it anywhere that worked composition wise so I just gave up on it.

Looking back on it now (and compared to the one I did after this), I wish I had made it a bit darker to have her stand out more from the background, but I do like this kind of warm scene too, with the warm glow coming from outside. Its the kind of scene Im always comfortable doing since it just suits my coloring style.

All in all Im glad I didnt give up on it, even if as I said before it turned out very different from what I wanted to do. Its one of those pics I wish I could look at fresh, rather than something from half a year ago, since that would probably be a lot more exciting, but hopefully thats the point of view everyone else will have, lol.
