Still wanted to do a few more things with Yae and this was one of them. Ive also been wanting to do more of these dress pics as I said before so it was the perfect chance to get two things done at once. This time I went with a white mini dress instead because I thought she would pull it off perfectly with her confident and flirty personality. Of course, combined with the usual strappy heels which I can never get enough of.

And speaking of flirty personality I wanted to give her a big smile for this one to go along with the body language. The goal is always to make people fall in love with the character and I think that definitely contributes a lot here.

For the overall look I wanted something similar to "Sunset" and "Riverside" and it was a huge struggle to get something I was happy with. I had like 3 versions of this with different lighting and colors and in the end this was my favorite since this is pretty much my favorite part of the day, when the sunset hits just right and you get that nice pink sky with warm highlights hitting the character.

Im still not satisfied with the final result but it was time to move on. Its always frustrating because when I finish the sketch Im always thinking the final thing is gonna look amazing but as I start to color it, I have to deal with the disappointment of realizing I dont have the skill to do what I want, lol. And then it feels like I "wasted" a great idea and I wish I could give it to someone who would do it justice. But it is what it is, just something you have to live with as an artist I guess.

I think next time I draw Yae I definitely wanna do something with nudity, since Ive drawn her 4 times yet and none of them had any. Probably the usual intimate indoors scene that I specialize in, at least it should be a lot easier than these outdoors ones, lol.
