I didnt mean to post my character again so soon but this is actually the only thing I had finished this week so I didnt really have a choice, lol. Ill try to keep things more varied in the next few weeks, but people always say they dont mind seeing more of her so it should be fine anyway.
As usual I had a few things I wanted to focus on, with the obvious one being breasts, and then also pubic hair, which is something I dont draw nearly as much as Id like. Im always a big fan of it and its just that most poses I pick tend to have that area covered by legs, hands or clothes, so its never visible. And other than just looking at it I wanted to practice drawing it really, trying to make it more "realistic". Its hard to do something well when you never do it after all.
Anyway, the pose in this one was just right for that, but I didnt want to go with full nudity because I felt like it would become too much when paired with the body language, so I thought going with open shorts was the best option. Its one of those things thats inexplicably sexy every time, but without being vulgar. And the same thing with the upper body. I wanted the breasts to be visible but I still wanted her to be wearing something (that wouldnt get in the way), and the scarf turned out to be perfect here. I hadnt drawn her wearing one before but Im a big fan of scarves in general, they always look good, especially the "naked scarf" thing, lol. Its similar to "naked sweater", another thing I love.
I think the reason it works so well is it looks pretty comfy overall and as the title of the pic points out, you get this idea of her just taking off her clothes after a day of aventuring and resting for a bit.
Also I also wanted to make her a bit curvier and softer here than in "Riverside". I always like changing body type a bit from pic to pic, its just more fun and also how it works in real life anyway since no one looks the same throughout their whole life. I like to think of all my pics of her to be different stages of her life, covering maybe 15-20 years, just without any chronological order.
As for the scene/background I actually wanted it to be a bit darker and moodier, with a dim light, but Im always worried about making things too dark and losing detail that I worked so hard on, so I did make it brighter and more similar to my usual stuff in the end. This is also why I havent done a night time pic in a long time btw (Riverside was supposed to be one), I still need to figure out how to take my current style and apply it to a night time scene without losing the colors, mood and detail. Hopefully Ill get there eventually, since I used to do a lot of night time stuff before.
