Continuining with commissions, another red haired xaela.

This one has some extra features, mostly with the bigger set of horns which I really liked (Ive thought about doing something similar with mine as an alternate form of sorts), and then the tail was actually my suggestion because I felt like the normal one wasnt a good fit for the horns, and they really liked it so yeah.

For the pose I wanted something sexy, cute, playful, fitting her personality with a cheerful/positive vibe, plus it has the bonus of the hanging breasts look which is always great.

Then the idea overall was to do something that would fit with the tribal xaela aesthetic, both with the clothes and background. I knew what I wanted right away but then took a while to decide on the colors. Originally she was wearing green but then I realized using green on the background instead and doing a soft purple/red for the colors was way better because it fits so well with the rest of her design. Plus I had the nails match the eyes as well since matching colors is always satisfying.

The background was what gave me the most trouble because I was struggling to get the lighting to look good/natural, but after messing around with it for a while and adding that small gap at the top left, plus the usual dappled lights here and there, it all came together nicely and in the end it plays a huge role into the feel of the scene. I wanted it to look really cozy and a bit luxurious but not in an expensive way, more like its a place she takes care of. Its hard to put into words but the pic should speak for itself anyway.
