Its Elin again.

This time the goal was to do something more revealing but still without showing any private parts, and of course having her look shy/reserved/insecure to add the cuteness. I decided to have her looking a bit down and to the side since that combined really well with the body language and just like making eye contact is usually a sign of confidence, this gives you the opposite vibe.

For her look I kept things very similar to the previous pic because I was really happy with it, but one thing I did change was to make the freckles a lot more noticeable and covering more of her body, although you have to zoom in to really see the difference since the detail gets lost when downsized.

I have another commission on my to do list also with a character who has freckles all over and so I basically used this one as practice since its not something I do often and I wanted to make sure it looked good/natural so by the time I get to it Ill hav a better idea of how to approach it.

Other than that not much to say about this one, I went back and forth with backgrounds as usual, always indoors/bedroom but changing everything around, and I liked this one the most because of how warm it looks. The combo of greens and yellows plus the plants giving the scene that cozy and at the same time exotic look, its just something you cant go wrong with. And then as usual having the character in shadow with dappled lightning hitting her, always looks great too.

I also played around with adding highlights around her forming a silhouette but I found it didnt really work for this one, it was just distracting and didnt add improve the pic in any way. I always find that weird, how I can do the exact same thing in two drawings and it will work for one but not the other, and I have no idea why, but yeah thats why every drawing I do ends up being this mess of experimenting and trying different things until something works.

Anyway Im happy with the final result so thats what matters, I think she looks super cute and the whole thing is pleasant to look at.
