Added 2022-03-20 16:56:33 +0000 UTCThis is one of those I had wanted to do for ages but due to all the breaks lately, I only got to it now. As with most of her pics it started with me wanting to draw her breasts in a certain way (in this case that lying down look where they fall to the sides), and then I went from there and tried to do an elegant and sensual pose that would go well with it.
For the clothing, of course she had to be topless to get the desired effect, but I knew right away I wanted her to be wearing something elsewhere so I started by adding some sleeves and legwear, and then the skirt. I used to draw her often wearing those arm and leg warmers but I hadnt done in a while, so I thought Id try it here and they were a great fit, I really like the overall look. I wonder what kind of top would go with this if she were wearing one... Probably some simple off the shoulder thing, as usual, lol.
I also made her hair super long and a bit edgier to match the look. One thing I was struggling with was the usual gradient, because I was planning on making the tips black but realized it was blending too much into the background, so I decided to leave it mostly pink this time.
Thats also why I changed the colors a bit right at the end, because I felt like there was too much black everywhere and nothing stood out, plus I wanted it to have a bit more color anyway so I started experimenting with it and I liked this warmer tone with a bit of green to it. Looking back now Im not sure if that was the best decision because looking at the process pic I also really like the old look with more black, lol. But whatever, cant have both anyway and this is a struggle I go through with almost every pic anyway. There are just too many possibilities when it comes to colors and there is no "right" one, so youre always left wondering if another version would be better. Its a constant struggle.
I think thats all I have to say about it though. Next up should be another Yae pic which I have already finished and Im also really happy with, even though it got very frustrating at one point and took an unexpected turn because of that, but Ill talk about it in the post.

Fun fact I actually tried swapping her outfit to white and it looked super cute, I was almost tempted lol she looked a bit like a super sexy moogle cosplayer or something, it just didnt go with the rest of the scene so I kept the black in the end

Yae and, especially, your au ra, are always welcome to take the center of the stage. ;] Really liking the hairstyle. Length aside, you did a really good job on her bangs, teasing me with one eye almost covered. :] The color gradient is also nice, matching with the jewelry that I really appreciate seeing back, especially that those look really nice on her. Can't help but think of "Darker Thoughts" when looking at this one. While that one was more awe inspiring and mystical, this one feels, more, how do I put it? She gives off more of a "mortal" vibe, while being still divine in it's own right. Demi-goddess maybe? lol Her breasts look amazing. Not going to say anything new but, physics are, once again, top tier, along with areolas and veins, something I wasn't aware I liked until I saw your art. ;] Always in favor of hand/leg warmers. Really like how they are being worn so they show off, especially legs, her colored toes making them stand out more as if they would otherwise. To wrap it up, got to also praise the body language and facial expression. She seems very lost in thought and calm, and this is the energy this one gives off to me. She is just pleasant to look at, and that is one of the reasons. I really can't help but think that this one is, as similar to Darker Thoughts as Requiem, Until the Dark and November are. If that was the intention, then I am impatiently awaiting the third art of the "Series". :] Whatever it will be however, of course,I am looking forward for more. Keep up the great job. ;]
