Autumn Harmony

One of the things Ive been struggling with lately is figuring out what to do next due to having so many options/things I wanna do, but as soon as I finished the last one, I knew this was going to be next. It just ticks so many boxes of things I havent done in a while, on top of looking a lot more colorful and such.

Its crazy to think about but, I hadnt done a miqo'te in a year (Claire pregnancy pic being the last one, exactly one year ago), and even longer for a character with darker skin. Of course Im not the kind of person who does things just for the sake of diversity or whatever, that always seems forced to me, but it just happened that way. That said, with this one so many things came together, also because I havent drawn this particular character since 2019, and Ive never drawn her cat form either (she was the au ra in "Private Lesson"). 

She also has a new hairstyle now and I thought it looked really cute (though I also did some small modifications as always to make it even cuter), so I wanted to base the whole thing around that, cuteness.

Overall this was definitely inspired by "Date", also from a year ago, with my au ra. I still really like that one and the general idea of that pic, so I wanted to do something similar, though I wanted this one to be more wholesome rather than just sensual. 

Her expression plays a big part in that, and I tried giving her the purest smile I could, though the downwards facing ears also play a role in that, and its something I just like doing in general.

Then theres the sweater + scarf combo, and I definitely wanted to take advantage of how busty she is, lol. That said although I like sweaters a lot, they take a lot of time to do so I will probably avoid doing them too often, or at least as detailed as what I did in "Days Gone". But here, with the outdoors autumn setting, it was just perfect.

And speaking of autumn, as I said at the start this one looks a lot more colorful than anything else Ive done this year, though its mostly due to the character I think. Ive always found that the way I color things depends a lot on the character, and its why for example pics of my own character always end up rather muted, since she is so pale and almost "monotone". This character on the other hand has strong colors in general, from hair to eyes to skin, it just promotes that kind of look, and so I thought going with that red of autumn would look great. Also because of how her eyes are the only blue in the entire pic, so they really stand out (technically the hair ribbon is also blue but its very muted).

Oh and I also gave her an extra fluffy tail because why not? There should definitely be an in game option for bigger tails, outside of mods.

I think thats all I have to say. Im pretty sure of what Im gonna do next as well (spoiler: another miqo'te), but after that not really. It sounds stupid but I have so many things I wanna do I almost get anxiety just from having to pick something, lol. I wanna do ALL the things.

Also trying to see if I can keep this weekly streak going for a while, its a good start at least.
