Until the Dark

So I wanted to explore the look I did in "Requiem" while turning the goth slider up a bit, and I am really happy with this one so I think you can expect to see a lot more of this look.

I knew I wanted to keep most elements from before like the earrings and black feathers and all that, but Im always looking into how I can refine/improve the look, and I think the major change here is the hair color. It came in quite late but I had the idea of making the "highlights" black (cant really call them highlights anymore lol), and it was one of those things that I immediately knew was gonna be amazing. What makes it so satisfying to look at is how it connects the pink of the base hair color, to the black of the clothes, just leading to a seamless transition. Plus it solves a problem Ive had before which doesnt apply here but it will in future pics... Im a big fan of pubic hair and making it pink didnt really do it for me, but now I can make it black instead without it looking out of place, so thats great.

Still on the topic of hair, I also wanted it to be a bit more wild, with loose strands and stuff. Im a big fan of messy hair so yeah thats something Ill try to work more on in the future as well. And just making the hair more detailed while keeping that nice silky look to it (which I think I managed here, really happy with how it looks).

Another thing I worked on a lot was the face. I know a bunch of people commented on how much they liked the face in "Requiem" but I like this even more. Might be just personal preference because I love girls with a stoic/serious look but even on a technical level, the shading and everything, I think it all looks great. And I also made the make up a bit more noticeable, with the eyeshadow being bigger and also using a deeper red for both that and the lipstick, which works so well with this look.

Other than that, I had originally also planned on making the top like see through lingerie but after starting to color it, I realized it became super distracting and made the pic too unbalanced. Its a shame because I always like her breasts to be somewhat visible, although I still sneaked in a bit of areola slip, along with the small fishnet windows being see through as well, lol.

I struggled a lot with the setting, trying a bunch of different backgrounds... But in the end I thought, since this already looks like a follow up to Requiem, why not just do a similar thing?  It works so well anyway. Though I went for more of a red theme here, with the leaves and stuff (and the pic overall having a red hue to it).

Anyway yeah thats it, once again, it took me a few days and I was stuck for a while but it was worth it, really happy with the final look.

Of course as I said before I dont wanna spam people with my character so I think the next few pics will be some different ones, probably some mix of other peoples characters and anime/game characters, with mine being thrown in here and there I guess. I wanna see if I can get some commissions done too so ticking a few boxes at once basically.
