Its been a while, but as you can see Im still alive. I thought about making an update post a few days ago as soon as I finished sketching this, along with a few other sketches Im working on... But then I though nah, Ill just spend a little longer and finish this instead so I can post the full thing right away so its more of a surprise and plus, shadow dropping things is fun.

So I actually started to get the urge to draw a while ago, like late October, but its just so hard to get started every time when coming from a break, like some extreme form of procrastination where my brain tries to find every possible excuse to do anything but draw, lol. Plus the more time goes by, the harder it gets because there is always this fear of "what if I forgot how to draw?" and just generally being afraid that whatever I do will suck and then I wasted time for nothing and all that. Its pretty irrational but yeah, thats people in a nutshell.

This is also why in this situation I always start by drawing my character, since its the safest/most comfortable thing for me and theres a very low chance that it would end up being a failure (although I was sketching multiple things at once anyway so that in case one didnt work I could just move on to another without getting too frustrated).

Fortunately everything worked out and this actually came out great, so much so its instantly one of my favorite pics Ive done of her.

I knew from the start I wanted to give her the same look she had in "Heavenly" because its been my favorite so far, due to the charming/seductive vibe she has, but this time I wanted her to be wearing something more casual. It has a lot things I love and just enough teasing without actually showing anything.

This is also my favorite version of her body overall... Everything from the general shape, proportions, softness... its just right for my tastes, and I cant get enough of it, lol. I guess thats the best part about being an artist, you get to do exactly what you want to see.

And as you can see from the sketch, originally I was going for a classroom kind of thing, but somewhere along the way decided an outdoors setting would be better. By the end when I looked at it, it really felt like a pic that would have been taken while out on a date, so that had to be the title.

So yeah, really happy with it and I hope youll enjoy it as much as I do.

Moving on, I guess you can expect to see a few more things in the near future. I was feeling pretty bad that I charged people for November even though I hadnt posted anything in ages, and that was actually unintended (I thought Patreon would remain paused indefinitely but it just unpaused automatically instead, so I was like "well, crap"). Im surprised so many people stuck around regardless and I really appreciate the support. Hopefully I can make up for it with upcoming art.

For now Ill stick to doing my own things before I start doing commissions again and what this means for the most part is, a bunch of Genshin Impact characters, lol. I dont know how many people around here play it but I like the game a lot and it has some great character designs so Ive had the urge to draw them for a while. The ones you can 100% expect to see are: Jean (the game gave me 3 of her for some reason, so she is my main from the start), Keqing, Beidou, Mona and Ningguang.

Ill probably also do either alternate outfits or variations of the existing ones (like bottomless or topless and so on) rather than just the in game outfit as is, just to add my own flavor to it and well, Im sure no one minds seeing a bit more skin.

I think thats about it, this post has gotten pretty long and I think Ive gone over everything I wanted to address (and if not, Ill do it in the next post).
