Added 2020-06-29 15:26:38 +0000 UTCToday we have a "simple" portrait of a miqo'te reluctantly teasing the viewer. I think you can guess right away what her personality type is, lol.
I thought her hair color was the stand out feature and so thats what I decided to focus this pic on, making it "fun" to look at due to the color variety. Plus I hadnt done the glass texture thing in a while and this was a good one to put it to use.
I dont actually have much to say about it, but one thing I really like doing with miqo'tes is making the ears as expressive as possible, and in this case her tsundere personality really called for them to be in an upright position. I feel like this kind of detail really adds to it.
The hempen camise was also a pretty good pick for the idea we were going for since you can just lift it up to get a nice tease going on. And well, she is hiding a lot under there, lol.
Another important thing that I was undecided for a while was the position of the right arm/hand. I thought this was the best option since it adds to the vibe I was going for and makes her look a bit more shy.
Anyway, thats about it. Still trying to take advantage of the momentum to get as much stuff done as possible so I already got a few things lined up to post. The next one will probably be a certain FF8 character I know some people here are big fans of, so stay tuned.

I like her heterochromia. Red and purple seem to work well together. Very well for her. And she has the type of pout to say "You only get a peek but not as much as you want. Only my standards." She also seems to not do it but only with certain people she tolerates. Rarely, some that she likes. And I've heard... She got that scar from all of her fighting. Protecting those she cares about and loves. But would never willingly say it unless in confined quarters. She seems like she would wear a mask. To hide yet keep herself safe. To protect without a word. But she also is aware of her feminine side somewhat using this pose. The pout is cute. She is aware of herself, I feel. She's very natural. She feels real. She feels like she's conscious of herself. But it would stop her from offering a bit of a tease or two. I would think... But she's far from a "poster" Miqo'te. Not even close.

2020-06-29 19:44:10 +0000 UTCAt first glance, Yami looks like a "poster" miqo'te (the hairstyle kinda reminds me of that), but this is not the case here. If you exclude the background, pretty everything about her contributes to her personality, hairstyle, facial expression, body language, clothing, pose, and also the scar (I'd like to hear the story behind it lol). I really like how her eyes have the colors of her hair. The colors themselves are of similar "warmth" so they imo look well together, and you need to do this right to avoid your character looking as if they had some kind of eye disease. Even though I mostly adore the the characters' faces, I can't help but get distracted by her chest area. :] Well, I guess that's the whole point of teasing so mission accomplished I guess lol.

I also have to say, good decision with the ears, they really kinda should be expressive, I mean cats are like that, so cat girls shouldn't be too different with that lol. I really like the expression tho lol, the tsundere vibe is real and thats kinda one of my favs so thats a ten. Also that top, the hempen camise for miqo'te.... I wish it was available to Au Ra. The Au Ra one isnt too bad for me but I like the miqo one the most, by far kinda lol. Such a shame. Oh and the bell choker, its like the one ingame except its not damn oversized (I kinda like it lol except not as much ingame due to the size of the bell, too big). The BG as well, is really nice, the glass with the rain drops and the colours, liking it. Very nicely done art, simple yet very pleasing. 10/10
