To Set The Scene: You are Chase Bradley, Chad Water's best friend. You, Chad, the Cheerleader and your friend Xena all went to the mall to get outfits for the Spring Dance. You, Chad and the Cheerleader are just exiting a store where you ran into The Nerd, but they were barely recognizable - they were in all new cool cloths, they got contacts, a haircut, etc. And you overheard them talking about running for a Royal Crown at the dance. This may be a problem, because Chad believes the crown is his (as his brother and father won it before him). You walk into the main part of the store and meet up with Xena, who looks into the window of the store you were just in, to see a new, really hot kid (but she has no idea, that that kid is the nerd - and none of you want to be the one to tell her - she just check out... The Nerd). Good luck!

Recap of Past Episodes when you were 'The Nerd' as the listener: The meanest cheerleader in school had been hounding you all year to write her papers for her, tutor her, she even convinced you to let her throw a Halloween party at your mansion last year. You made all her friends party outside in your yard for fear that they'd trash your house, but they were pretty upset when the sprinklers went off and ruined their night (and all their costumes). You are pretty much hated at school because of that party, but this cheerleader still can't seem to shake you. You were wondering for a while if she was picking on you / using you just for her own gain or if she actually might like you a bit. At the Halloween party last year, she opened up to you, and you even had a tiny kiss. Over Christmas, you were forced to study together where she gave you a bit of a confession that she does actually like you a lot. She told you that you were her first kiss, and she even kissed you again under the mistletoe! You thought she finally had accepted her feelings for you, but after her friends ganged up and bullied you at school, shoved you, stole your glasses and phone - she did not have your back the way you hoped she would. She stopped her friends from going through your phone, but still called you a loser and disgusting in the process. You really thought she would stand up for you and you were so hurt and angry you stopped taking her calls. You were in your bedroom studying for the Romeo & Juliet test when the cheerleader barged in through your window thinking you would forgive her. To her shock you did not forgive her, and even though she apologized, tried to understand how much she hurt you, and how much bullying affects you, you still don't feel ready to really forgive and forget. She begged and cried, but you still asked her to leave. You were really broken hearted and you miss her, but you can't decide if she is worth all this pain and drama anymore. You went to your favorite diner, Audio Bites, and you made a pros and cons list, reasons to give her another chance, or to end things with her once and for all. While there you met a waitress, who is actually a senior at your school. She has seen the way you are treated, esp by the popular group and she thinks it's horrible. She read through your pros and cons list and tried to help you make a decision. She was surprisingly empathetic to the cheerleader, because she has seen her go through some pretty awful things with her mom at the diner (including her mom taking her to the diner while drunk and throwing up all over one of the tables.). But while she was empathic to the cheerleader, she still stands firm that the way she has been treating you is not okay, and you do not deserve it. She also made it pretty obvious, that she thinks you are pretty cute too. The waitress wants to help you, and made an offer that sounded too fun to refuse. She offered for you to pretend to date her, to try to make the cheerleader jealous - hopefully wake her up a bit to what she is missing. So far it seems to be working, the she keeps seeing you two together and is clearly jealous. The cheerleader has even started dating Chad Waters - the worst guy ever, to try to make you jealous back. It is spring dance time, so the waitress took you to the mall to get the hottest possible outfit to show the cheerleader what she is missing. It is also Spring Dance Royal Court time - and the waitress thinks you should run. Is she crazy? Either way, while your mission is to make miss cheer jealous, you are also really enjoying the time you are spending... with this really pretty, sweet, and protective waitress.
