Yotsuyu
Added 2019-10-27 16:47:38 +0000 UTCIve had her in my to draw list for a long time and I was finally able to check her off my list this month thanks to a fellow patron commissioning her.
The biggest challenge with this one was to do a pose that showed everything while still keeping the look of elegance and arrogance youd expect her to have (although I did give her a more gentle look, as I always do). I thought the pipe was a must have so I decided very early it had to be in it.
Then we dressed her up in something a bit different from the black and red kimono, but I think this is also very fitting and something she would definitely wear indoors, especially since I dont think she is the kind that really cares about people seeing her naked.
As for her body type, Im sure the way Ive done her breasts wont be to everyones tastes, but its something both I and the person who commissioned it love so it was a key part from the start, and of course I wouldnt have done it if I didnt think it fit the character. Same for the pubic hair, she is definitely someone who would have a very natural look all around (and I feel like it goes well with her past as a courtesan).
Lastly for the background I wanted a bit of a mix of an eastern and western look, and I think thats exactly what it looks like. The hard part was the fact that there was a lot of empty space on the sides that I had to fill somehow, while keeping the focus on her. What I love about it is that not only did it work, I didnt even have to use any blur, which is very rare. I think the fact her pale skin stands out so much from the couch immediately pulls your eyes towards her, being the area with highest contrast.
And I do love how colorful it is in general, with a warm autumn vibe. I think most people go for night time/dark scenes with yotsuyu but I enjoy doing bright stuff more nowadays.
Well thats it, I think Ill post another viera next, a full body one this time which I hadnt done before. Although this is a different one, as you one will see.

Ive decided not to post the ones I was talking about actually, its just one specific character anyway When it comes to this one it only applies to the breasts but seems people dont have a problem with it for the most part which is good, Im proud of my "fanbase" Its just like you said and I wish more people would see it like that but sadly they dont, they see something like this and immediately go "they are ugly" I guess not everyone can have superior tastes like us I dont know if youre gonna like the next Viera because you dont like hybrids and thats pretty much what she is

2019-10-28 15:58:55 +0000 UTCBy reading your previous post i was led to believe that this one was going to be something i might really dislike. Turns out i was worried for nothing. First of all I need to point out that, the breasts you are drawing, those included, are ironically among the most 'normal' of all. Those we can see in games/movies/anime/internet etc can quite often warp the perception for some about how breasts really look like. We pretty much got used to the shapes that are not that much 'normal' as some may think :] Yotsuyu, I can't say I see her very often. My feelings about character herself are quite mixed. I really like how she looks, but her personality... don't take me wrong, she was an interesting character... But i digress here, this is not the place for that so i'll focus on the art itself. I love her facial expression. It's sensual, it's alluring but she gives no room for any doubt as for who's in charge here. Also good thing you've kept her flower hairpin, for me that's as much a signature accessory as the pipe. Her hair is slightly tousled which i also really like. It adds to the less formal nature of this scene while keeping that air of authority about her. Can't wait for more Vieras, we all know what is the ultimate race here, but diversity is always welcome.

This is a body type i do enjoy and find most fitting for her :) Also, her outfit and the whole background are sooo gorgeous ! Full body Viera next...hmmm i can't wait ! :P

2019-10-28 14:55:44 +0000 UTCYeah Im sure most people dont but Im always hoping my pics will make people realize the beauty in it, even if not at first, maybe the more you look at it the more youll like it And if not thats fine too, I draw all kinds of body types so of course not everyone will like everything, so people who dont like this can just wait for the next one The next 2 pics are very "normal" so I think most people will like them (both wallpaper sized too, as I said Ive been doing lots of them)

I have to say, while I don't particulary like them this low, I don't mind too much and it really does fit her, I mean honestly I imagined her having maybe 2/3s as low breasts as this so its close enough and they look good anyway on her. I also do agree with her natural look considering what she was. I really do like how she looks here and how it turned out and damn that BG is also really good, the whole vibe and autumn colours, her skin pops out, so like you said no need for blur (and the eyes). Love the pipe since its an important part of her. Her "clothes" fit too considering what her personality is. Her pose is your usual more gentle version but its still defo yotsuyu lol. Really well done, thats a ten. A full body viera next? Sign me up, defo wanna see that.

2019-10-28 00:58:05 +0000 UTCI dont think anyone knows what size she is since the kimono completely covers her chest, so its really up to interpretation (plus SE tends to make the in game models smaller in general, just look at trailer Lyse vs in game Lyse lol she lost two cups) If I knew for a fact she is smaller I wouldnt have done it, since Im very picky about keeping characters faithful to their original design

2019-10-27 17:04:44 +0000 UTCI love the way it turned out. It is true that I am not what it is said a fan of fallen breasts, because Yotsuyu has smaller ones and wouldn't look like that imo. But I love the work you've put into it, mixing the theme of the room. The pubic hair details is also great!
