Always great to get to draw monster girls, even if they are very challenging compared to the average ffxiv character. In this case, the tentacles gave me the most work obviously, especially since its something I had only drawn once before, with the Kraken from MGE.
I was originally gonna draw her clothed but I really liked the way the breasts looked so I decided to just keep it like this, with the gold ornaments.
I also had some trouble with the transition of legs to tentacles, it was something I changed early on in the sketch and I like this waaay more than what it looked like originally (her legs were just normal at first).
Then of course I tried to do a whole setting that would be fitting for her, on the shore of some tropical beach, still partially submerged. It was also a good excuse to include some green in the pic which makes it way more vibrant, combined with the red and yellow.
Same for the sea stars, its one of those little details that actually add a lot just because of their color.
Anyway, hope you like tentacles (or as memes would go, Ive seen enough hentai to know where this is going).
I think next Ill post something of my au ra, sort of a sequel to "Reflection". Got 2 pics of her to post so yeah, gotta get the first one out of the way. Then I also have a viera portrait I did after I played around with the benchmark which turned out way better than expected, so thats another one Im looking forward to posting.

That said this is quite a different one compared to the usual but I do like it. The tentacles had to be quite something to draw but I think you did it well, they look really neat and fit not to mention the whole settings at the beach and her being in the water is really good for well, who she is. I also really like her expression and body language. She is quite endowed too haha which I must say is nice... and it really fits the whole tentacle monster girl for me too. Really like the finished version. 10/10 Looking forward to both pics of your Au Ra, will defo become one of my fav drawings again, as they usually are. The viera portrait is going to be interesting for sure too since well, first viera from you haha. Dear patreon, you know what you did, and I do no appreciate it *angry face*
