Added 2018-10-11 15:44:22 +0000 UTCSo lately there seems to have been a surge of au ra and miqo'te mixes, with most people taking au ra as the base character and adding the wolf ears from the last halloween event, then matching them with the hair color so that they appear natural rather than an accessory.
This was the first one I did, but I can already tell you there will be more.
I think if I were to do this kind of thing myself Id probably replace the au ra tail with a miqo'te one as well, so youd have a more even amount of fur and scales, but without them ever overlapping since that would look weird.
Also, there is also a butt somewhere in there and people seem to like that so yeah.
Moving on to other things, I got a lot of feedback on my last post (I think I spent half of monday reading and replying to comments because there were so many walls of text), and I have a pretty clear idea of where to go for now.
One of the ideas people seem to like unanimously was to have me post preview sketches of things Im currently working on or just finished, so you get an early look/tease of whats coming later in the month and such.
So with that in mind here is the last thing I did, which Im super excited to show in full because its quite different from my usual stuff and more along what I used to do a few years ago, before FFXIV commissions became the norm. Ill be posting the finished version closer to Halloween since everything about it suits it perfectly. And of course Ill talk about it in more detail once I do. I think keeping a certain mystery over what youre looking at also makes it more interesting.
Anyway, the other thing Im also pretty sure Im gonna do is a monthly poll where people will be able to vote which character Ill draw next, and Im thinking of making this open to all tiers, since then the poor $1 tier will finally get something out of it, even if its just a bit of interactivity. Ill start with only my own character selection but eventually I want to take peoples suggestions as well, so yeah that should be fun.
Lastly Ill also be posting more of the process/steps pics, whenever I feel the pic had an interesting evolution from sketch to finished and its worth seeing.
And thats it, wrote a wall of text again so sorry about that, lol.

Oh man, that's awesome to see a mix of those races ! :O She looks damn gorgeous (and yes also dem tasty butt :3 ). I think i would have also change the tail for a miqote one, so that would feel like a 50-50 Au Ra+Miqote. But noneless, that's still a great and super lovely character. :) I'm excited to see the incoming ones ! THanks for the sketch, Sora ! Man, that Baphomet is so sexy and badass ! I'm digging the design a lot (both her body and the outfit)...and ofc, the scythe make it soooo sweet ! <3 Love it.

2018-10-13 04:49:26 +0000 UTCThey already fit well even in game as long as the color is the same so it wasnt too hard at all I also really like the shape they have, more like a wolf rather than the cat ears miqo'tes have, so thats a nice variation And yeah I didnt like the fox ones because of the headband so that should definitely be an improvement

If so yeah its pretty rare, and it doesnt really matter what the character is wearing since its all about having elegant body language Thats why I started drawing in the first place, there is a lot of lewd stuff online but not enough of the kind I like, so I thought Id contribute to it the best I could

I use the fox ears on my au ra ingame too sometimes cause I think it looks very interesting and nice in a way with a mod that makes the band disappear so its only ears. Really nice char overall. The sketch looks very neat, looking forward to the finished version.

2018-10-11 18:35:11 +0000 UTCHm it might be too much posting sketches and requests, so maybe Ill alternate between the two, but then again its up to people if they want to download everything or not, so technically its not hurting anyone (and eventually people will run out of things to request) Btw as I said before all the drawings of that miqo'te are off limits for patreon :| or at least that was the case a while ago, I should ask the commissioner if he has changed his mind
