Red
Added 2018-09-16 15:30:46 +0000 UTCI was asked to do something similar to "Luli" for this one, but I went with a brighter look instead because I really like the combo of red and white.
Lately I always seem to feel more comfortable with brighter scenes, which is interesting because it used to be that way with darker ones. Just earlier this week I did a dark fireplace one and it felt pretty weird. Almost like I wasnt sure how to do the lighting and colors because its been so long since Ive done something dark.
But I like it this way anyway, the colors always seem to look more vibrant because of that, when before everything looked very desaturated (which also has its appeal). This one being a good example with the red really popping.
Anyway, havent been drawing much this month, but I did draw a lot in August so its fine, it just comes and goes I guess. I always feel bad for people waiting for commissions but oh well, nothing I can do about it, forcing myself to draw just wouldnt feel right.
Also 4.4 coming this Tuesday, so I guess Ill be checking that out, but I barely play it anymore, so Im actually more interested in the story than anything else. Should be fun for a few days anyway.

More red hair I see (and more Allyha lol) Onsen is another good example of how the white background enhances the look, red just looks so good when you make it vibrant like that

Of course they didnt know it was me so whatever )
