Under Her Spell
Added 2018-09-12 16:31:17 +0000 UTCNew drawing of Mika the witch, who Ive drawn twice before, in "Dote" and "Mika" (duh). Id include those but since I had requests from a few posts ago Ill put those up instead.
So this was a tricky one and Im sure some of you might ask "is that pose even possible?" and the answer is: I have no idea. Its what they wanted and I tried to do it in a way that would look good, while just imagining she is really flexible or something.
In the end it doesnt really bother me and Im super picky about things like this so it should probably be fine for most people. But yeah, I hate how people always want back and front being visible at once, as if I could draw in 360 degrees or something, so this is what you get.
Anyway, that aside I really like it overall. I had the idea of having the floating books and magic runes in the air to really get across the impression of her having a magic field around... I guess its also convenient since it means she can just use magic to clean up the place and put all those books back where they were.
And yeah there will be more of her so if you like her you can look forward to that.

See, if she was more of the feline persuasion, her pose would make perfect sense! Tbh, this comes across looking pretty natural unless I really spend the time to think about it, and artists are constantly being asked to make the impossible look possible, so in that regard you really succeeded.
