With that out of the way, I wanted to take the chance to talk about some things.
Some people have asked me about releasing older pics in full size as well, which I agree should be a thing, but Im still not too sure what the best way of going about it is, so I think for now Ill just pick some of my favorites and post them every once in a while.
Im dont know how often people usually post things on Patreon, so I dont wanna be spamming people, but I also dont want to just post once a month since that would be boring. So Ill try to strike a balance, and any feedback is welcome.
Also, I have a whole bunch of characters I wanna do fan arts of, and Im curious if people would be interested in voting which one I do next. The catch is it would have to be a character I like, obviously. But then again, anyone who likes my art enough to pledge, probably has a very similar taste to me, so it should be fine. (I also have no idea how the voting system would work, so again, feedback is appreciated)
Next, when I was doing my Purple Heart fan art last week I decided to try something that I thought people would enjoy seeing. Basically, I did one of those "progress/steps" kind of pics, where it shows Lines > Flat Colors > Shading > Final Look. I really like that kind of thing so Im thinking of doing it once in a while and making it an extra reward on top of the current one, for the same tier.
And lastly, would people like it if I posted those fan arts earlier here? Im usually a few weeks to a month behind on my posts, compared to when I actually finish them, so youd be seeing them way earlier. I dont know if anyone cares or not, but if you do just let me know and I will.
Well thats it for now, I wasnt expecting to write this much but yeah, first post and all that. Hopefully as time goes on Ill get a better idea of how this whole Patreon thing works.

I generally see anywhere from 5 - 10 posts a month from my other creators.. with 3 or 6 of them being art of some kind

2018-05-01 17:28:42 +0000 UTCHow often you post varies from artist to artist. I would say that one post a week would be a good minimum; I wouldn't post more often than 6-8 posts per week. I'd love to see you draw fan art, and being able to vote on characters would be great. Patreon has a built-in polling system. Some of the artists I follow give higher-tier supporters the option of suggesting characters that they will draw. Also, Patreon gives you the ability to give supporters "early access" to posts that will be released to lower tiers or the public later.

Unffff as always, so many nice pics and it's a pleasure to see them in hires. <3 There's no special rule about how often you have to post. Tho, i think something like 1-2 posts per weeks would be fine (as you said, maybe for posting old pics or for a voting poll). Aaaah, yes steps-by-steps ! Would really love that from you, definitely ! ^^ Also i'm pretty sure anyone would be happy/glad to see early your art. It's usually a "selling advantage" on rewards for many patrons. Again, thanks a lot for all your wonderful works ! <3 I still have hope one day to com' you X.X
