More progress!
Added 2022-05-25 20:17:00 +0000 UTCIt's looking like this might actually happen.. I've spoken to two separate leaders in the "gloves for mocap" space and got the run-down on how each of them works. Both the companies I interviewed has a product that will likely work - but one of them stands out above the other in terms of cost. One of them requires $2,000 per year "subscription" fee to keep it working, and the other offers their software and associated code free of charge. Both gloves have similar feature sets. I haven't actually made a decision yet - but definitely leaning toward the one that has no subscriptions associated.

2022-05-27 15:48:35 +0000 UTCUpdate - this is really good actually.. the subscription based product is actually quite a bit better in terms of hardware quality and feature set. I had a great meeting with them yesterday, and they agreed to significantly lower the subscription cost to a number I can actually manage.. so unless something changes I'm going that route. I'm going at this as fast as my resources will allow.. so stay tuned and thank you for your support! This is going to start my financial standing with VaM back down to nearly zero - I 'll be emptying out my savings for this, but I am hoping the results will be well worth it in the end.
