A note about pricing, and a request for your feedback
Added 2021-09-18 15:55:13 +0000 UTCHey everyone. You probably noticed this last mocap went in the $8 tier. It was a tough call, but I did it due to rising costs on my side. It costs me just over $500 USD per month to rent the space where the mocaps are performed. That plus the cost of staying up with the latest tech has caused me to rethink pricing - which has stayed the same for nearly two years. I hope you will understand my reasoning, and continue your support. My intent is to keep looks at the lowest tier, and of course occasionally release free items. Also I pledge to become more active as I realize the last couple of months have been a bit stale - I got Covid, and the recovery was a bit slow..
This is an open forum though - if you have any comments or complaints please feel free to say something. Each of you are supporting me currently if you’re reading this, and that matters to me - your opinions matter to me.

I didn't even notice it went into $8 tier. No notice or post change that I paid attention to.

2021-09-18 20:27:48 +0000 UTCDidn't actually notice the last mocap went to the higher tier! I have been busy with other stuff. That being said, I have no problem with the change and I will update my pledge accordingly. Hope you are feeling well and look forward to seeing more from you.

2021-09-18 19:16:52 +0000 UTCYes. The mocap process is tedious and frustrating- but rewarding when it comes together. Mostly though - all my overhead is what’s hurting. I pay license fees for the music that is included with the scenes, I pay fellow creators for their hair and plugins, rent is huge, and you don’t even want to know how much money I’ve sunk into this beast of a machine I’ve built to make it all work. This has moved from hobby - at my house - when I have 10 minutes to throw a sloppy mocap together, to a full business model with expenses. These other mocappers are trying to raise 30k for advanced mocap equipment! I’m not doing that! But.. it’s a little involved as you say.

2021-09-18 19:15:08 +0000 UTCSince you're one of my absolute favorite creators I will not hesitate to upgrade my subscription. You're by far, one of the best creators for VAM. The quality you put into the looks and mocaps is amazing! Please, keep doing what you're doing! I'm always excited to see your new creations and can't wait for the next one to be released! Great job and keep up the good work!

2021-09-18 18:59:05 +0000 UTCI appreciate the feedback - if you look at the other mocap creators - they are already charging $8 or more, so this price point is nothing new. Keep in mind not every post will end up in that tier. This gives me some flexibility to separate things based on levels of quality.

2021-09-18 17:10:28 +0000 UTCPersonally, the quality you put out, I have no problem upgrading for extra $3. I mean not only do you do excellent looks, but quality mocaps. I support you 100%

2021-09-18 17:01:53 +0000 UTCTo start. I really like the quality and mocaps. That last one was why I started my membership. And I don't have a issue when a sickness or other issues out of you controle (or if you just need a vacation like the rest of us) that delays stuff. And if things cost to much or you can't get the income you need. I understand. But a increase of almost 30% to get the same thing is a bit to much for me personally.
