Quick weekend update - workspace revamp!

Hi guys!

So much as I would have liked to get some shiny new photos of the now-resin'ed deep tiles and banks (large corners pending, they're next round) - I hit a major snag :/

Long story short, I've been spending ages trying to fix my damn workspace on evenings/this weekend...hence no time for a proper update :(

With the new support I've been seeing on patreon I've finally felt comfortable spending some savings and ordering some upgrades, a larger light, wall mounts for said light, and a new photography desk/black background.

Combined these are going to massively help with my work flow and the quality of the videos (the lighting of my work desk particularly)

However, they also came with several problems, ranging from the minor (the light needs me to rewire the plug unexpectedly) to the major, such as...

Right now I can't shoot preview pics because the desk delivery got messed up.

They brought the wrong one, and I had to take the old one down before they would bring in the new one and install it (it's a sit-stand desk, which is going to be a major help with photography back ache).

So I now have no photography space, stuff All over the place that should be under the new desk but isn't, and an uncertain delivery date that might mean I need to get my old desk back/put it back up in order to do photography... Not fun! 😔

All I can do is let you all know the work goes on well despite this. Ripples are done on the deep tiles, all the resin'ed tiles seem to line up well and it generally looks awesome.

Something I will be overjoyed to show you once my desk supplier gets their act together.... 🙄😂
