2026-02-23 04:42:31 +0000 UTCPoland in summer is lovely. Please come Austin and see more than just Oświęcim (Auschwitz). There are many gorgeous castles in the area. Sightseeing is experiencing history with all of its highs and lows, and I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I remember traveling with my parents in the summer when I was little, and in the middle of so many fun days, we went to Majdanek. My sister and I were so used to smiling in all the previous photos, but as my mom was documenting our tour of all the horrors of the Holocaust, we made a conscious decision to have really sad and worried expressions. Those pictures make me laugh so hard now, but I also remember crying and being sick to my stomach as I saw it all that day - thats just human experience.

2026-02-22 00:38:56 +0000 UTCI used to live in Berlin for 4 years and there was this trend at the time where gays (not all of us, some) would take Grindr photos at the Holocaust Memorial. Please don't be that guy. Same prolly goes for Auschwitz.

2026-01-29 18:14:16 +0000 UTCMuch love to Hasan for representing us! The talk about their privilege was getting a little out of control. A gym on a plane??? Most of us have to save money for a few months to afford a coach ticket and a save a few more months to be able to bring luggage. Glad to have Hasan always thinking of the common person and wanting to improve our situation also..... I wish I could turn down paying for a 1st class plane ticket not because I don't have money but because they don't have a gym....that's nuts. Glad Hasan turned Will around.

2026-01-29 14:33:37 +0000 UTCI find that many older men in my life since about the age of 25 have found polite ways of regularly asking me "so... you fuckin?" These old goats wanna hear the dirt

2026-01-28 08:52:15 +0000 UTCWent to ADE back in October and after five days of staying up all night partying in Amsterdam we decided to skip the Anne Frank house because we were absolutely fried and too brain broken to handle the severity of that historical monument. Austin please let us know how pride b2b dachau is 😭

2026-01-27 17:19:45 +0000 UTCI can totally get like your local theater being a place for that sing a long theater show (probably should be advertised as such) like the way those local Rocky Horror showings go. but Broadway is the peak of that theater even for stuff like Mamma Mia. I can see how its disrespectful to not let them perform in the best environment. musicians have in-ears on stage for a reason at concerts. its not the same

2026-01-27 13:10:31 +0000 UTCNah I'd blow up at anyone making me listen to them fucking sing at an expensive broadway show. It's out of control. For people who don't live in nyc it could be the one time they ever get to see a show

2026-01-27 06:01:38 +0000 UTCI would note that "laughing and clapping" does not *automatically* mean "they heard a joke in the show and laughed" or "something in the show made them clap" Especially if they were "having conversations" as he said, there's a real possibility that he was referring to *arbitrary* (from the show perspective) laughing and clapping. Granted, I haven't done anything "theater" since high school, but people in movie theaters who think it's a place to have a conversation fucking infuriate me. Have not crashed out like that, but I've silently fumed a time or two, particularly after an instance of driving 8 hours round trip to see a movie that was otherwise playing nowhere near me and hadn't been available in the U.S. before ever, despite existing for 50 years prior to that.
