Just know japan commercials and marketing is weirder but funnier in a lot of cases then the US but its just different cultures humor. Also yes pokemon hasnt lost steam(hopefully latly it will after certain patents they have done) digimon hasnt exactly been…consistent with story telling…which i feel is a hinderance to new comers to the franchise to understand one series to another. The only connecting thing ends up being digimon exist in one way shape or form and humanity is just learning or have known about digimon in each series(except adventure 1 and 2. Because the had consistent plot)
