22yr old zoomer girl here who's been subbed since like 20. a family member of mine has an age gap relationship identical to that one and it completely icked me away from any age gap relationship like that. i feel like so much infantilization happens in those relationships from the older person. and also the older partner being condescending to the younger person not knowing xyz that the older person learned in their early twenties. the power dynamic is so weird and the older person behaves almost like a caretaker when the younger person is 18-23 bc you just aren't as established into adulthood at those ages. i'm 22 and have been working in a higher level role for the past year and still would never feel remotely close to someone 29 despite having a 401k and a car payment π
