I hold my phone for the entire flight. I also never use the bathroom because I don’t want to inconvenience the people sitting next to me. Also gross.

Not anymore but years ago I would skip movies, shows etc if I knew I was late because I dreaded people staring at me as I walked in -I make decent money but this episode really hit how much money some of y’all have to fly first class everywhere. Especially Austin in his short flight to Oregon and back. That’s some real mula! -finally, I totally agree on guests. Is there anything more humiliating than doing that perfectly normal and acceptable thing? If the door was still open, sure, but opening a door to enter a room? By myself? I just walked home instead. Therapy helps btw lol

It makes the screen in the seat less comfortable to watch, it makes the tray table less comfortable and it can make most laptops 13 inches and over borderline unusable. However, the biggest reason it should be an unwritten rule is, not every seat on the plane can lean back, so the argument of "if the person in front of you leans back, you lean back" falls apart. The very last row typically can't lean back as well as the row in front of the emergency exit row. Also, some planes have lavatories in the middle of the cabin, the seats in front of those typically can't lean back either.
