Can't believe it is over. Sad times. But we will be moving on to Andor.

Star Wars Rebels Finale Full Reaction

Yes! We’re loving it!😊

Thank you!

So if Star Wars was a choice based game really gotta make the decisions that will lead to Thrawns defeat for us to get that Return of the Jedi happy ending. Come to think of it, would be cool if they did a choice based Star Wars game, especially as they have flushes out the world so much now with all the content.

Bethany and Ken

Unfortunately this suggestion was made by a couple people but after we already began Andor so we’re locked into that now.

5 years would be SO long to wait!

Thank you!

Bethany and Ken

Definitely a nice thought!

We are loving the start of our Andor journey and would agree it makes the Star Wars universe feel more real. It’s somehow more tangible as it feels rooted in reality instead of the sci-fi fantasy world that was more removed.

Bethany and Ken

Andor is next but we will be doing Ahsoka in the future.

Bethany and Ken

will y'all be watching the Asohka series on disney+ after this?

Interesting take. For me Clone Wars will always be on top but that's also because I like that era more. The downfall of the Jedi, the Republic, the Separatists and of course Palpatines great plot. For me season 2 finale was the best when it comes to Star Wars Rebels. This finale was a bit mediocre for me., it felt super rushed but maybe that's just my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Andor is a great show and makes Star Wars more realistic and not just black and white. Love that the truth explored in that show is canon. You might not like that as much as I do though.

Congrats on finishing rebels. RIP to CC-5576 Commander Gregor. His first appearance in Clone wars season 5 episode 12. Now colonel yularen was Anakin Skywalker's Admiral during the clone wars a nice little reference. Now i fully believe if Grand Admiral Thrawn was present in the battle of Yavin / Endor the rebels wouldve lost. Now from my understanding the ploy that Emperor Palpatine was to enter the world between worlds. As that one advisor said, "He who controls the plane will control time and space." (I know that isnt word for word) since Rex was in the battle of Endor a lot of fan theories suggest that Rex had served with Luke. (Another theory suggests that Rex told stories of Anakin and him fighting in the clone wars and explained all that he did. Which would've caused Luke to fully redeem Anakin.) Its not confirmed but it's a nice thought, Captain Rex serving under both Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker but it's not confirmed.

comparing Andor to Ahsoka is like comparing a gourmet restaurant to an Arby's meal.

REDE

HUH?

Andor focuses on its own seperate Rebel Cell and takes place over the course of a few years and Leads up to Rogue 1 movie and the discovery of the Death Star Project. And would technically be placed a bit before the events of the finale of Rebels in the time line in season 1 but the show jumps time a bit. The Ahsoka series picks up like 9 years after Rebels finale and soon after Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5. For chronological reference, already discussed in the live

yea whenever i recommend someone watching either of the animated series i always say do both, just cause the series themselves are connected to each other and essential to understanding the context of what Star wars really is. so many of the modern spin-offs rely heavily on both knowing the animated stuff and the movies. Alot of people will go and claim the Ahsoka show sucks, 90% of people who say that watched neither the Clone Wars or Rebels shows.

Knight Spearhead

Ahsoka is next. Don't worry about Ezra!

Mosh Mia

The ones that came at ezra with "just sticks" are the Emperor's Royal Guard and we first see them in the original triology.

Knight Spearhead

Those of us who followed the show when it aired had to wait 5 years , for the discovery of what happened to Thrawn and Ezra after the end in the Ahsoka series. Back when this show aired this was a 2 part episode, in the streaming services they like to merge 2 parters into one since they dont have to worry about commercial time and all that

Knight Spearhead

Idk how this will be taken in the comments lol but I would recommend watching Ahsoka before Andor, bc it directly follows Rebel's conclusion.

Ngl i kinda ship Kallus with Zeb lol

“I see your defeat, like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace.” Sabine’s narration is after return of the jedi fyi. The rebels won pretty sizely in part because of Thrawn’s defeat and because the Emperor ultimately decided to go with Krennic’s project which was the Death Star as opposed to Thrawn’s Tie defender one I also concur with everybody else saying to watch Ahsoka next as it’s the direct sequel to rebels. IMO it doesn’t really make much sense to watch show 1 - go to an entirely different show - go to the sequel to show 1. I’ll still watch because it’ll be my first time watching Andor as well but that’s just my take

Xircc

You guys should definitely watch Ahsoka to follow up on the story from this show. Great reaction btw :)

Christian Gundersen

You guys definitely need to watch Star Wars Ahsoka now! It takes place 10 years after Star Wars Rebels so if you want more of what goes on. Then that show will be a great one for you guys to watch!

Brendan Wong

Fair warning before starting Andor: It is a VERY different type of Star Wars show, with a more gritty and mature tone that focuses more on the realistic side of Star Wars. It is also one of the best things to happen to the series so hope you enjoy it
