Two evolutionary forms?! Didn't know that was possible, do any other pokemon have that option besides Kubfu?

Didn't realize people could have psychic powers in the pokemon world too, that's fantastic! And of course at the mention of seeing the future this pops into our heads: https://youtu.be/xO1TScQwu6g

Pokemon Battles can occasionally be pretty destructive, but when it comes to repairs, Pokemon can also help out with that too! A torn up ground is easily fixed by a couple ground types. Leon is no longer the champion, since by this time in the story, the game has finished and the player has defeated him, taking his place as Champion. He's not too bummed about it really, since in the player - either named Viktor or Gloria canonically - he's finally found someone strong enough to beat him, a driving force to finally push him to grow stronger. As for Chairman Rose, Leon took over as the head of the league because Rose is in capital P Prison. Turns out unleashing an otherworldly Legendary Pokemon with the potential to destroy the entire world as we know it - and then figuring out that you in fact Cannot control it yourself, go figures - maybe might not be a great idea. So when all was said and done, and Eternatus was quelled, he surrendered himself to the police. A few little notes, we briefly saw Leon go the the Isle of Armour - inspired by the Isle of Man - to visit his old master Mustard. Mustard actually used to be champion himself back in the day, and we can actually visit and learn from him in Pokemon Sword and Shield's first DLC. We also see brief appearances of your rivals for this DLC; Klara and Avery. They were previously wannabe gym leaders, overall losers, and some of my favourite characters in these games. They're so stupid I can't not love them. Avery, notably, I think is the first time you've seen a psychic human! And yes, not only Pokemon in this world have powers, there are a few humans that can also channel psychic or ghostly powers, Avery here is noted to actually have very weak psychic powers compared to his family. He can float things with psychokinesis, but others are capable of much cooler stuff, like seeing the future! Also, for a very brief moment on the train at the end, you saw Peonia and her father Peony. Peony is a dad through and through - embarrassing as ever, but always supportive and wanting to spend time with his daughter - and fun fact: he's Chairman Rose's brother! They don't much get along nowadays.

Overall, I’m glad you two saw this series and I look for wars as to what the next mini series is. Or perhaps one of the movies. In which case if you’re going to watch the first ever Pokémon movie, you NEED to see the backstory video first. I sent one earlier that someone posted on X (Twitter), but I’ll post it again here: https://x.com/PokemonHttps/status/1837583166770680087/mediaViewer?currentTweet=1837583166770680087&currentTweetUser=PokemonHttps Also would be preferable before that to see the first season of the anime, but it’s 82 episodes and only 2 of them relate to the movie. So my suggestion would be to watch at least the first 5 episodes, then skip to Episodes 65 & 67

The final episode of this mini series is pretty much a giant ad for the DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield. 2 DLC’s in fact The first one was the “Isle of Armor” where you could actually obtain the first DLC story Legendary Pokémon. A little bear called Kubfu that can actually evolve into 2 forms depending on which one you like more. The second one is the “Crown Tundra” where you explore a more snow covered area that involves the mystery of many Legendary Pokémon and the history of Galar in the past.

So the Battle with Leon is pretty much the most popular episode of this series and for damn good reason. The animation alone is enough to give it 5 stars.

This was a pretty good little show for getting some interest! “Wonder what happened to creeper dude”, Guess you’ll have to play Pokemon Sword and Shield to find out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So what's next on your Pokemon journey you two?

Things to clarify: Episode 7 - All the people you see in the beginning are all 10 Gym Leaders of the region including the ones you have already seen. - The thing about Leon getting lost, it probably wasn't an exaggeration. He has a TERRIBLE sense of direction. - Sidenote: I was totally thinking of Hiccup and Toothless in the first How to Train your Dragon movie when Corviknight was flying. - The guy Leon is facing is Raihan, the selfie loving Dragon-type eighth Gym Leader, and Leon's self-proclaimed rival. Episode 8 - Former champion, this takes place after you, the player, defeat Leon during the Pokemon League. - This first half takes place on the Isle of Armor, the first DLC of the Sword and Shield games. - The little guy laying there stone-faced is Slowpoke, but the Galarian form. Unlike the normal ones, these ones have a hint of yellow to their skin and also have the poison typing. - The mad hatter guy and the girl with the butterfly shaped ribbon are Avery and Klara, your rivals in this part of the DLC and psychic and poison type gym-leaders in training respectively. - Leon's master is Master Mustard, a former champion. - The little bear Pokemon on the cliff is Kubfu, a little legendary Pokemon that basically evolves into the Kung-Fu Panda. - The pink boy and the goth girl are Bede and Marnie, the new Fairy and Dark type gym leaders respectively. - The episode then leads to the Crown Tundra, the second DLC. The daughter and father on the train are Peonia and Peony. Peony is actually Rose's brother and former Steel-type Gym Leader AND former champion. - The three birds you saw are the Galarian forms of Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno, and unlike the original fire, electric, and ice birds, they have the dark, fighting, and psychic types instead. - The two guys with the goofy sword and shield style hair are Sordward and Shielbert, they are antagonists who try to screw up the region and place blame on the box legendary Pokemon to revive their fallen noble houses. - So creeper dude Rose did some.... stuff... might've caused a space skeleton dragon to descend and almost destroy the region... and he's in jail now.
