How/where would we watch them? We're loving the show and currently streaming it on Hulu so would be down to check out OVAs after the season if we are able to.

Bethany and Ken

Wait, a single banana was all he ate?! We thought that was just his snack. That is crazy 🍌

Bethany and Ken

A dingo is never late! 😊

Bethany and Ken

No specific plans other than we both want to see it and so will likely react to it once it is available to stream and we can work it into our schedule. 🦸‍♀️

Bethany and Ken

Since we’re in a superhero mood, any plans on reacting to Superman?

I'm upset I'm late

depressed dingo

I was gonna suggest that too, haven't watched it in full since i was in Highschool. Would be awesome to see them get into it.

If you guys had a problem with the tongue stuff in this ep I cant imagine how they would react to Kakyoine with the cherry LOL.

The funny thing is in a way the training makes sense. It is actually physically impossible for a (regular human with a sedentary lifestyle) to do 100 pushups, situps and 10 km EVERY single day with no other nutrition other than a single banana daily for 3 years straight. The stress from doing that made his hair fall out and this training resulted in his regular human limitation (as in the maximum amount of effort a normal human can actually do) to be broken. Which is why everything is so effortless to him because he simply doesn't have a regular human limitation and no actual way for anything on Earth to test his limits. (Obviously in real life this work out routine would just make you need hospitalization because of the sheer stress and lack of healthy nutrition to properly fuel your body) He's basically like a saiyan who’s in constant zenkai power boost mode.

Thats not all anime, more like 70% of them are adaptations

I wanted to recommend a show you guys show interest in watching some day. It's Ben 10, the show is quirky, action-packed, but is committed to showing Ben become not just a better hero, but a better person as well which I feel like is something right up you guy's alley

I did want to clear something up. So japan buisness works differently from the USA in terms of certain aspects but similar as well. (As far as i am aware) The way a anime comes to be is a artists/author that makes a manga(japanese comic book) ex. dragonball for instant by toriyama. Then if it sells well a animation studio like funimation may pick it up for a couple seasons or more as long as the manga keeps selling well. If a manga sells well a anime will be made and seasons will continue. Usually i believe one person writes and draws the manga themselves. The anime is just a adaptation of said manga beat per beat(sometimes…sometimes they take a different approach and change some stuff or make filler to stall time for the manga to catch up to the show almost like game of thrones and the books) Note: some anime do not have a manga and dragon ball super was made by what toriyama told the animators what happens in the story but he was behind on making the manga and certain story aspects happened differently compared to the anime.

33:30 Ah yes, Mumen Rider. Arguably the most likeable character in the series and a favorite to many (me included). His name is a reference to the Kamen Rider franchise, and it translates to "licenseless rider" in Japanese. He's just a man without a motorcycle license trying his best and we love him for it.

Fun Fact: Carnage Kabuto is voiced by Mike McFarland. The VA for Master Roshi, Yajirobe, and Android 8.
