This is such an interesting episode. Like with Tana's, I feel like I learned a lot from people I would have never thought to seek it from. I heard similar perspectives from Mak Ingemi, who is a lesbian Tiktoker who also got big through thirst traps and is now looking beyond that and being known for more and that's just fascinating from the outside.

2024-02-20 19:06:05 +0000 UTCThe highest salary I've had in my life would be around 3000 dollars per month today. You're telling me people make five times that, for making tiktoks? People pay you the equivalent of a down payment on a modest apartment in my city for a couple of ads? I have never felt more useless in my life.

2022-10-12 21:51:22 +0000 UTCI'm so pleasantly surprised. I've known of Bryce for some time, and pretty much dismissed him when he became such a fck boy, and came off so fake. He started spiraling, getting into fights etc.. I was over watching his life unfold in a hellish way. After his arrest, and Covid Party, I wrote him off completely. To see how far he's come in such a short time, I never thought I'd see the Bryce I first met, who's now even wiser, more mature, and even clearly empathetic. I never thought I'd be a tiny bit of a fan again. Who knew?

2022-10-12 11:16:20 +0000 UTCI was pleasantly surprised with Bryce and Josh, knew of them tangentially as a TikTok user, but was incredibly surprised by their self awareness and overall intelligence (not to be rude). Super cool for them to be this upfront and honest with regards to themselves and their content. Cool dudes

2022-10-11 09:27:30 +0000 UTCSorry in advance: I wish I was better at expressing myself succinctly so my comments aren’t perpetual walls of text 💖So the content house that hasan was talking about has in fact been backed by a huge corporate company (I swear it’s called 10 million or 7 million, something cheesy like that. I think it might actually be called 7M?) The house itself apparently has big religious aspects they aren’t joking around about and the owners of the whole thing are foreigners and not European, so some people automatically assume that means clashing culture and assimilation. I’m pretty sure if you look up “LA TikTok content house kidnapping cult” you’ll find it for sure (did I mention they’ve been accused of being a cult bc they have). There’s some wild accusations around the whole thing— hopefully this gives Hasan enough cursory info so that he’s ready next time and can corner them for insider info more efficiently 🤪😂😜🤣 almost 100% sure you’ll be able to find some video essays on it over on YouTube. 💖I loved this episode! I never really thought I’d care much about what these guys (Bryce and Josh) had to say, but it’s nice to see that they possess some level of self awareness and that they’re not completely shallow 2D persons, psilocybin induced or not 🫠🫠🫠 it’s always nice to see personal growth arcs! 💖Happy birthday Marche! 🎉🎉🎉
