First Build Released!

Hey guys,

It came right down to the wire, but here's the May build!

I'll do a detailed writeup later of what I've been working on these past few weeks. But for now, here are the controls:

Left stick - Smooth movement. Click and hold to run.

Right stick - Smooth rotation + teleportation.

I don't know what the controls will map to on the Vive wands, but if you need to remap the controls, go down to the bottom of your steam games list and click add a game, and select non-steam game, then browse to where you installed the files. This will also allow Steam VR overlays and playspace moving to work in the game if you have those installed.

Not normally. There does appear to be an app on Steam called Driver4VR which can add some level of interactivity to VR games when played on a monitor however. If you have a Kinect or the Switch Joycons, it can even allow tracking your hands and body. (Note: There's no support in my game yet for full body tracking, just hands.) I can't promise this will work of course... or provide support for it. I've never used it, I have no idea how well it will function, and I don't know how the buttons and hand movements are mapped. But if you try it and get it working, let us know! And regarding native support for desktop play... I may eventually add it, but if I do it's probably not going to be for several months at least.

I hope this isn’t a dumb question but can you play VR games (like this) without a headset? Could you just play using your monitor and keyboard?

The macro and vore stuff is definitely going to be among the first fetish content I add to the game. Implementing the ability to adjust your size for example is one of the next things I plan to do, and that will enable you to crawl into an avatar's mouth. Of course their mouth needs to be open to do that, and I'll pose some characters that way for now, until the big systems are put in place, so you get a little something to play with. But the ultimate plan is to allow you to interact with your partner, which will include coaxing them into opening their mouth, having them be able to pick you up, dangle you over their open maw, etc. That's all gonna take a while to implement though, and I need to add content for the people who aren't into vore too!

The game will feature shrinking and growing mechanics. Exactly what form this will take in the final game, I'm not sure yet. Once I add menus though, I'll include an option to adjust your own size. Then at some point, I'll provide a means of altering the size of the other characters, be that a shrink ray, or just a character creator where you can adjust scale and sex and such for your partners.

Gave it a quick look around and very interested in how this project will develop! One quick question, do you think it would be possible to feature smaller than 1:1 scale figures for those of us who enjoy being on the larger side?

Oh, pulling the stick back actually worked... for some reason I thought you had to "click" the stick. I feel dumb now Thanks for the fast support though :)

You have to pull back on the right stick to teleport. Did you do that? If so, have you tried adding the game to Steam? That may help. I'll investigate whether there are any known issues with the Rift S for the middleware I'm using. It may also be that I have to include something I didn't for Oculus, so if anyone else has an Oculus and is having issues, let me know!

One thing I noticed was that teleportation does not work on my oculus rift s. Shame, since I was mostly looking forward towards the macro shenannigans. Got any advice on how to get it working?

Btw, if any of you guys have SteamVR overlays that tell you what FPS the game is running at, It'd be useful to know that as well as what GPU you're using. Right now I'm getting around 100fps when looking at the house from spawn on a 3080. But I haven't yet added any occlusion culling so every single thing in the house is being rendered every frame.

The boobs on the gal in the downstairs bath are also interactive! I added the dynamic bone interactions at the last minute and I had to rig it all manually, so the colliders are a bit janky right now. And rigging it by hand for each avatar is a huge pain in the ass because I have to add every collider on both hands to a list on each dynamic bone script on the avatars you can interact with. So I'm gonna need to delve into the dynamic bone scripts and re-work them to automatically scan the heirarchy for interactable bones.

Okay, spent some time in there, that's really looking super nice. And yes, I'm also very much looking forward to interactions, although I saw the tail and dingle dongle of the shark guy were very much flexible. :) Also thank you for giving paw fan service, of course!

Ok, this is a nice proof of concept thus far. Can't wait to see what else you have planned. I'm particularly looking forward to interactions.
