Sorry for the radio silence, it’s been a rough couple of weeks. A lot of unexpected stuff has been piling up, hospital visits, endless errands, and the kind of frustrating bureaucracy that always seems to show up when you’re already juggling too much. Every time I feel like things are finally getting settled, something else pops up. It's not anything serious, thankfully, just… exhausting, and it makes it hard to stay focused when you're being pulled away every hour or so.
That said, I want you all to know that even when things go quiet on my end, I am still working on the games whenever I get the chance. And if there ever comes a point where I need to step away for longer, I’ll make sure to let you all know.
I know updates have been slow, and I really appreciate your patience. Behind the scenes work is always underway, some of it I want to share in this post, and some I’m keeping under wraps so you can experience it for yourselves when it’s ready.
The story is getting refined, mechanics are being explored and worked out, and a lot of thought is going into making sure everything fits together just right. I want it to feel exciting when you finally get to play, so I’m holding back on sharing too much too soon.
For one, whenever I have a bit of breathing room or just need to shift gears, I work on assets for the main game that aren’t shared right away. For example, here are some early concepts for areas where you'll encounter other characters in. Stuff like this helps speed up the process down the line and gives the main game a stronger start, with more content right from the get go.



I've also been giving the combat system an update, which will be later added into the Adventurer demo. The UI has been updated to match the current design, and I’ve been mapping out how it should actually work and play, making things simpler and smoother to navigate, with clearer commands and interactions.


I decided to go with miniature/chibi versions for the character for the combat to keep things visually compact, also making them easier to animate, which helps a lot. Let me know what you think of the new look!
The normal models for the monster girls will be featured as well, in special events triggered through simple but specific actions. I won’t say more for now, gotta keep some surprises.
These events also give me a great chance to dig into Live2D animation and figure out how to properly integrate it into the games engine. It’s a good testing ground for seeing what’s possible, especially if I want to bring that style of animation to the rest of the characters later on. Since the main characters use complex, multi-layered setups, trying to add Live2D animation to them right now would be a huge time sink. So this is a way to explore the idea without getting tangled up in all of that just yet.
And finally… the character preview dress-up minigame is here! Like I mentioned before, this will be a perk for a new Patreon tier, but you can check it out now following the download links below. It’s mainly for testing and developing assets (models, clothing, icons, etc.) and getting feedback for the designs from you, allowing us to try out different designs and ideas going forward.

That new tier will be kind of a “spoiler” zone where I’ll share more details regarding the game and planned content. But if you’re just here for regular updates and early access, nothing’s changing with the existing tiers. It still requires some polish, and has a few glitches, like the save files being unusable... So feedback is always welcome, do let me know your thoughts on this!
