As mentioned in the previous post, I made an overhaul to the combat mechanics and implemented character stats.
Firstly, the combat should be much easier as now the damage will be based on stats and weapon damage and chance modifiers have been improved.
I still have to work on balancing and add methods to increase stats over the next few updates. Ultimately, I believe that this will be great for progression later on.
Here’s how it currently works:
Damage is based on strength plus weapon equipped
Hit, steal and critical chance is based on dexterity
Lust increase is based on charisma (combat only for the time being)
Wisdom will increase total MP and magic damage (not implemented yet)
Additionally, enemies have similar effects with damage, armor and hit chance. You can lower their damage by stealing their weapon, same goes for armor but with more items to steal. The enemies hit and critical chance lowers with their lust increase.
I also plan on adding these modifiers within interactions, though this is a bit more complicated as it’s not turn based, so I need to find the right balance for it.

NOTE: old save file will more then likely keep your stats low, to get them up to the current version, you can use the day skip button or use the cheat code “stats026”.
Also keep in mind that this overhaul may cause more bugs, so let me know if you encounter any.
