Hey everyone!
A lot has been going on the last few days and I’ve been working on several things, both to improve and add to the game as well as prepping some changes to community spaces.
So, here’s what's planned for the next few updates!
Bug fixes!
As a lot of bugs have been reported, I've been fixing those issues as well as working on optimising the code a bit better to hopefully prevent more bugs popping up on previous scenes.
Modifiers!
While optimising the code, I'll also look in to improving combat damage modifiers and RNG luck, to make the combat less frustrating. Additionally I'll be adding some mechanics to lower the shopkeepers mood bar.
Rory events.
Continuing with Rory’s story, adding new animated scenes, as well as adding some new reactions.
What that tongue do!
As requested, I’ll be adding some tongue action to the interaction mechanics.
Interface update.
The UI needs another update, expanding the inventory, some item redesigns and layout optimising. I hope you'll bare with me as I try to find the right layout for current and planned mechanics that will come along the way.
Animations
The main issue I’m facing with animations is the fact, when doing full body animations, each item on the character has to be animated as a separate file, in order to allow the games mechanics to function as they currently are and keep the animation consistent.Over the next few weeks I’ll be testing out Live2D animation software to see if that will be a possibility.
