I'm currently planning on learning more python elements to help me make the games mechanics work better and hopefully allow me to speed up the programming process in the future.
In order to do so, I was thinking of making a new combat demo for NPC Tales where I can implement it and to keep things interesting, I'd also make the test out another idea, making the combat a old school side view fight. This would allow for multiple characters as well as adding characters to the players party. This would also allow me to make some new animations and add some interesting new mechanics specifically for this combat variant.
I'd like to know what you all think in this regard, are you interested to see me make this or do you prefer the current version of the combat.

I'd say it would be a perfect mix with rpg elements. Considering it's being made for PC play primarily(please contine android too though 🥲), you have more things to play with on screen for what you think looks nice and manageable. Such as character scaling(size), The UI options, more defined background art(moving clouds, trees swaying, every little detail matters.) I just think that is a massive open door opportunity. Overall 👍
