Thank you for sharing this!

No, it is definitely loopy, I think we lucked into a couple of guesses early on that just took us down the right path.

Thanks for this tip!

Bethany and Ken

Haha, yes we're absolutely interested. Thank you!

Bethany and Ken

Wow... this is indeed incredible, thank you for pointing this out!

A small detail I wanted to bring up that can add some context to a later conversation. You missed one thing in the manor while playing as Alicia, there are 2 dogs sleeping by the fireplace, their names having some importance. One is named Monoco the Third, and the other is named Noco.

2:29:48 Imagine what this would look like from Lumiere. Edit: Speaking of Lumiere, someone just pointed out the incredible symbolism of this shot (2:26:50) to me. The Paintress (Aline) comes in to fight between the tower of Lumiere and the party to symbolize how she's trying to protect the city's people from Expedition 33 (and by extension the real Renoir/the Curator) . It also depicts the tower as filling the gap in her giant mannequin's face, representing how Aline uses the town of Lumiere to fill the void of the real Verso's death.

Wanted to bring more attention to Clea because there is an entire story surrounding her that happens under this game's hood through optional content. To experience it in full requires besting two super hard bosses, both of which are optional and significantly harder than the final boss. They're located in extremely dangerous areas, one being the Flying Manor and the other being Renoir's Drafts. I have a couple of lore videos that will lay the story all out for ya, but I can't share 'em until after you've finished the main story. So before we get to that point, I had a question: would you two be interested in watching videos of these two bosses? I would normally encourage ya to try tackling them for yourselves, but ... yeah... nah. Story mode won't save ya'll lol.

As you have deduced, there is a fair bit more left if this journey in Act 3. A good portion of it is made up optional content, namely side missions that are locked behind the party's relationship levels and the campfire dialogue. While none of these will change the actual events of the game's ending, I highly recommend doing them. This is especially true of Maelle's quest. I would rate it the same way I rate the Ambrosia side quest in FF16, in that it's optional when it really deserves to be part of the main story.

Seems you two have a better hold on things plot-wise than I did at first during this part of the story. Won't lie, the amount of revelations and twists threw me for such a loop that I didn't manage to grasp everything going on only until after I finished the game (after looking at a story explained video). Perhaps I'm just a simpleton idk

1:52:58 This here song is titled "Une vie ร  t'aimer (A Life of Loving You), which some have been deeming as this generation's One Winged Angel. I'd say the song's legacy and recognition still have a long way to go before that sentiment becomes valid, but I can agree that it's definitely THE vocal track of this game. I do like it a lot, but I honestly wouldn't call it my favorite battle theme in Clair Obscur. A couple of fans took the liberty of translating the song in full. Turns what sounds like a battle cry into a sad struggle between Renoir and Aline. https://lyricstranslate.com/fr/clair-obscur-expedi-une-vie-taimer-english
