(Sun Tuz) Don't think you picked up on Director Krennic but he is the director for making the death star (he was in Rogue one the main antagonist. And briefly scene in the bad batch the episode before Tech died.) As for timeline I'm pretty sure this season happens 1 year before a new hope (1 BBY [before battle of Yavin]) so we are really close to the original trilogy. As for the death troopers (black stormtroopers) the death troopers are heavily trained troopers specifically trained to defend high ranking officials (Grand Admiral Thrawn) and special assignment missions (as seen in this episode) just some information i thought is nice to have (might be off on a few pieces of information)

2025-08-07 20:03:09 +0000 UTCat episode 3 here we see the first Canon operational use of the TIE/D Defender, its now out its DP Defender Prototype phase and while it has a tractor beam projector like seen on Star Destroyers they're not using it here on the Ghost for some reason, probably plot armor reasoning ep 4, DEATH TROOPERS!?? Also fun fact the first Death Star has 8 kyber crystals in total, 8 on the surrounding disk but the second Death Star also has 8 kyber crystal but instead it has 7 on the surrounding disk and 1 in the middle
