2025-07-27 18:06:36 +0000 UTCSo as stated in the beginning, we are going through every region, which means going from Generation 8 to 1 in that order. Here’s a quick rundown of each region we saw and what the situation is. Gen 8: Galar Being based off of Great Britain, Pokémon battles are treated more like a national sport than anywhere else. You can think of its treatment like Soccer (or Football as they calll it over there) where it’s the most popular sport to watch there. Our main character of the episode is in fact the Champion of the region, Leon. He pretty much has been helping us on our journey to take him on. Which was going to happen until his boss, being the bad guy of this story, awakened a very dangerous Pokémon called Eternatus and Leon had to go stop it. Unfortunately, he wasn’t strong enough. That’s where we, the player (canonical name is Victor), and our rival, (Hop, who is Leon’s little brother) try to stop Eternatus ourselves, and summon the Great Legendaries of Galar. Zacian (sword dog) & Zamazenta (shield dog). With their help, Eternatus is finally captured. And that last scene is basically us finally having our fated battle with Leon and taking the crown of Champion of Galar. Gen 7: Alola Based off the Hawaiian islands, focusing on respecting nature, traditions, and modernization. There’s a big theme of working together to overcome struggles. Character this time is Lili. Daughter of Lusamine who is the CEO of the Aether Foundation. A Pokémon conservation organization that protects injured or endangered Pokémon. And while it’s a noble goal, Lusamine herself is a very awful person, but might have been under the influence of something, so good on you for somehow catching that Beth. Lusamine treated her daughter and son like dolls that needed to do what she wanted, so Lili ran away while rescuing a Pokémon from her. A space Pokémon called Cosmog, but she nicknamed it Nebby. Lusamine eventually reclaimed Nebby, and used its power to open a “Ultra Wormhole” to fight Necrozma and save the Alola Region. Which then leads use to the scene where Lili is walking up some huge steps with us, the protagonist of this story being “Selene”. We go an altar that will help Nebby recover its strength, and find out it is “Lunala” the Emmisary of the Moon. Nebby helps open an Ultra Wormhole to find Lusamine, but as you saw, she got her ass kicked in no time flat. Necrozma now becomes the antagonist of the story as it is a being whose only purpose is to continually devour any source of light it can find. Basically the epitome of a black hole. Nebby tried to fight off Necrozma, but couldn’t beat it and got absorbed into it. Becoming Dusk Wing Necrozma. The final scene is us helping Lily to save Nebby. As we pretty much are very good friends of her and she’s by far one of the most popular characters of Pokémon that go through a character arc.

Once again being a series for longtime players. But the animation for this mini series is far more better than what we saw in Generations. In my opinion at least.

2025-07-27 17:38:25 +0000 UTCThings to clarify: Episode 1 - The Pokemon they were fighting is Eternatus, and it is a Dragon/Poison type. - Eternatus did not evolve, it Gigantimaxed, a special type of Dynamaxing. Dynamaxing is a power so far exclusive to the Galar region which turns Pokemon gigantic. - The sword and shield were the items exclusive to the legendary Pokemon of the region, Zacian (blue wolf) and Zamazenta (red wolf). They came to help restore peace to the region when called. When holding the sword and shield, their forms change from their default "Hero of Many Battles" form to their "Crowned" Form. - Dynamaxing also affects Pokeballs as you saw the ball get bigger. Dynamaxing the ball is the only way to capture Dynamaxed Pokemon. - Here the story focused around Leon, the champion and strongest trainer of the region. He's feeling down since he's supposedly the strongest, but was basically useless in the Eternatus battle and left it to his younger brother, Hop, and the protagonist of that region (the player). Episode 2 - So the Pokemon nicknamed Nebby was originally a little baby space dust Ultra Beast Pokemon called Cosmog, which evolved into that oval shaped thing called Cosmoen. After that whole little flute ritual, it evolved into the Pokemon of the Moon, Lunala. - Lillie's mother, Lusamine used to be a kind mother, until her husband disappeared one day (No not for milk, literally poofed out of existence), and she went insane. She eventually discovered that her husband may have been taken by an Ultra Wormhole and poured all her time and devotion to her research and neglected her children. - Necrozma is an Ultra Beast Pokemon from another dimension, the light eater, it absorbed Nebby to turn into its Dawn Form.
